What a lovely trip home it has been. I will share more once I’m back in New York, but am currently writing this from a few days off in Portugal! Never been before. Have you? What a beautiful place.
I wanted to shine a light on a really incredible gift that Mum and I received this week, from Lorraine Allen-Collins. I knew to expect it but had really no idea how many special & handmade items would be in the box. Firstly, some stunning Groovi artwork. Have a look at this…

We couldn’t believe it. Insanely cool, right? We are so impressed.
Thank you, Lorraine, for not only the generous gifts but for sharing your skill and love of leather work. It is inspiring. As Mum and Dave often say, ‘Get with your hands’. It really is so impressive what some people can do. It never ceases to amaze me. I just needed to share it with you. I’m sure you’ll agree that this deserves a showcase all by itself!
I must dash. We’ll be back to our usual Saturday Share format next week! Looking forward to it. I’ll be on the look out for some favourites in Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide, though I do enjoy shining a light on individual bits and pieces when they come our way.

Fab work ! Enjoy Portgual, have been but a few years ago – I even played a round of golf there – I’m not a golfer though but hubby and the couple we were with were so ‘if you can’t beat em join ‘em’ ! xx

Hi Grace, hope you have a lovely few days in Portugal before flying home to New York. Those gifts are beautiful & thank you for sharing them with us. Leatherwork is not something I have tried but there again there are so many different crafts about it would be hard to try all of them.
I think you are going to have a hard time choosing artwork for the coming weeks as there have been some fantastic pieces being posted on FB, some from new people joining our ever growing family which is great.
Will definitely check in tomorrow for Glynis’s new projects xx
What a lovely gift to receive. Great that you were able to visit your family in the UK and now off back home all too soon I would imagine. Went to Portugal years ago – lovely place so enjoy whilst you are there. I think us Shackers are going to miss our bus driver for the next few weeks but she deserves time out with Dave. I’ve been dog sitting for weeks it seems and unable to craft. I’m determined to sit down next week and go through the recent Shac episodes – I’ve just ordered the embedders required for that wonderful flower. Also got homework so hope they arrive in time. Safe journey back to New York Grace xx

Such a lovely gift. Enjoy Portugal, Having got up later than usual, put the washing out, then managed to get it in before a heavy rain shower. I am going to make some banana muffins, to utilise the oven, while cooking some chicken for my dog. I really ought to do the housework, I had planned for this morning, so I could craft, the rest of the weekend, but I may find myself pulled in another direction, along the groovi route! xx
