Hi there! Grace here, back again.
Sick of me yet? No? Oh good. Because I have more coming your way today! I hope everyone has had a relaxing morning, had their breakfast… maybe a coffee or tea. It’s now 9am here in NY as I write this with my coffee and breakfast that Mark just rustled up.
He often makes scrambled eggs. And during quarantine I woke up fancying a soft boiled egg with toasty soldiers! I hadn’t made them for years, perhaps since college. Mark looked at me blankly, so it must be a British thing?! So after speaking to my Grandad about logistics, who made them for us often, I got to work. My Oma had bought me one of these years ago, but I never used it.
Top Tip: DON’T pull it up all the way. My first ‘tester’ egg, was actually perfectly cooked… But exploded everywhere when I ‘over cracked’ the egg with this contraption. Very funny. But we have since made soft boiled eggs about once a week, and we’re pretty good at it now. I obsessively perfected it, and then showed Mark… and now look who is having breakfast made for her whilst she blogs 😉 He’s a good egg.
Of course I’m still going to do my Saturday Share, even on our Virtual Clarity Open Days! And this week, in honor of that, all six card makers win a prize!
I love these cards. Just stunning. I believe Joyce has used our Paper Flowers, which I also adore! Even my Mark, here in NYC, said ‘Ooooh I like those flowers’. Haha. He’s not crafty, but he can appreciate beautiful art. And I often show him the cards I’ve picked, and ask his opinion. He looked at these and said ‘wow, they’re amazing. So much time and effort has gone into those! And ooooh I love those flowers’. Ha.
I do agree with him. So I’m going to award all 5 of these talented crafters with all 3 colour sets of these Paper Flowers. (If the 5 winners could please email me: email@example.com to confirm your address, I’d appreciate it!)
If you want to check them out yourself, they’re included in our 25% off sale! They are lovely. Take Marks word for it 😉
I’ll be back soon with more designers and demonstrations, but in the meantime… I asked Sam Crowe to put together a video of photos of previous open days, as I’ve seen some videos that she’s made and thought it was a lovely idea.
Anyway, she sent it to me in an email last night, and I’ve only just got to watching it as I’m attaching it to this blog. And I am laughing my arse off! You’ll see why…
Thanks for that Sam! Hysterical.
See you in a bit with more inspiration and more opportunities to win prizes!
Lotsa Love, Grace xoxo
