Stick With It

Helloooo! Grace here.

I hope you’re all having a good week. And if you’re having a ‘growing’ week (as my Mum calls it) instead, that’s okay too. I hope you’re getting through it to the best of your ability. They’re not meant to all be good. The world is constantly going through it, isn’t it?

If it’s not an earthquake or a tsunami, it’s a plane crash or a flu epidemic. Or basketball legend Kobe Bryant +8 others passing in a helicopter crash in Los Angeles. That one stopped the world. Life is fleeting. But we keep going, don’t we? Even when it’s someone we know, or is close to us, we eventually get back up and keep going. Humans are incredibly resilient really.

YOU are incredibly resilient actually. Since I started managing parts of Clarity Facebook online and writing this ‘ere blog, I see all of your comments and what’s going on in some of your lives. And I applaud you.

This quote has been around for a long time, and it always makes me feel better when I’m feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders. So I thought I’d share it with you…

Every time I read this quote, it grounds me. I hope it brings at least one person a little peace today. It’s much healthier to see the world that way, than to get angry at it. But it takes work.

Even if we have never met before, if you’ve read even a few of my blogs you could probably guess which my favourite Clarity products are. Anything meaningful, or deep, or poignant. So, here’s just one of them…

STICKERS!!!

I’m obsessed with these stickers. If I didn’t have to save them for actual work, they would already be stuck all over the apartment, and peoples belongings.

I might do that actually. I might just carry them around in my handbag and stick them on people in Manhattan that I think need a boost. You think I’m joking. Hahaha!

Look how many there are! 460 in total!

I just think they’re wonderful! And I’m sure there will be more in the pipeline, now that Ms. Cheesey McMindfulness has arrived on the scene 😉

I’m thrilled to say that these stickers are in our first consignment of products for our American customers, on Clarity USA:

https://www.amazon.com/Claritystamp-Barbaras-Sticker-Collection/dp/B07Y385T47?ref_=ast_sto_dp

And of course on our usual website:

I better go put in an order myself, so I can get to work on the people of Manhattan 🙂

Lotsa Love, Grace xoxo

    Hi Grace,
So pleased Clarity US is working out so well for you. Your ” Breathtakingly Beautiful” quote is so true and poignant. When things are not “quite right” for me and life is dealing up a bit of a “dodgy day” I reach for my Clarity “treasure trove” to try and get back on track. Your Mum has posted some very thought provoking blogs showing how art can try and make “sense” of the “senseless”. Our Clarity art can help us cope with whatever life has waiting for us in so many ways – whether it’s amazing, awful, mundane, routine or just fun!
Looking forward to seeing Grace’s Gorgeous Mindfulness Sticker set!

Grace I can just see you popping stickers in random places all over Manhattan. The quote is quite true as well. We just don’t know what’s round the corner & so we must make the best of every day & remember that how ever tough we think we have it there is someone somewhere having things far worse than us. Live for today & sort tomorrow out when it comes is one of our family sayings. Take care & carry on blogging x

    A thought on your quote.
If it wasn’t for the “lows” we wouldn’t, in contrast, appreciate how amazing the “highs” are. Life would just be mundane and boring and not at all life enriching.
Enjoying your blogs and wishing you an amazing Clarity journey. x

You are so right, Grace. If we did not have the growing days, we would not appreciate the wonderful days. Right now, all I can hear outside is sirens from emergency vehicles, so I know that someone is almost certainly having a worse day. That puts my present growing time into perspective. I have a frame on my fireplace which displays a stencilled design from your lovely Mum with very poignant sayings from her collection. I treasure that. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter)

Love the idea of people arriving home or at the office and suddenly finding an inspiring quote stuck to their coat or bag. It would raise an eyebrow and I’m sure a smile too. XX

My secret Santa at work gave me a jar of success and inspiration quotes by smiles by Julie at Christmas. I take one out whenever my day isn’t quite going as planned! Today’s read “every success started with the decision to give it a go” – must be a sign to get in the craft room to experiment.
