Hello hello! Grace here.
I hope you’re well? Safe? Happy? Any of the above?
It’s good to be back in blog land – I took a small hiatus, partially out of respect for the Queen, and partially because my trip back to England was very busy indeed. But it was otherwise a very productive trip! And I got back on the plane to New York earlier this week feeling very accomplished. And grateful to have spent a precious couple of weeks with my family, when we all needed it most. I even got to venture up to London, and pay my respects (from a distance).
How strange (but good) to be in England when the Queen passed. I’m glad I was there with you all.
But I was thrilled to sit down back in Brooklyn, in the later part of the week, and gather my favourite pieces of artwork from Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide. It’s like Mum said in the SHAC Shack this week (yep, she’s baaaaack!)… there’s something to be said about routine.
Grab a cup of tea (or whatever you fancy) and settle down for a few minutes to enjoy these works of art with me…
B. E. A. uuuuutiful!!!! So many incredibly stunning pieces of artwork. You never cease to amaze me, you talented bunch! It’s still as hard as ever to select just a handful, but these just jumped right out and I couldn’t resist them.
Thank you for continuing to share your work and inspire others. It’s probably the most important part of our little crafty community. As I search through the artwork shared, I see so many of you helping each other; answering questions, complimenting each other’s work, and giving advice. I love to see it!
But now… I better dash. My Mark and I are off to Mexico very early tomorrow morning for 5 days! WHAT! Would you believe it’s our first ever proper holiday just the two of us? We’ve been together almost 5 years now (to be fair, COVID slowed us down didn’t it?). We are such social creatures, and both are big family people… so we travel a lot; England, Ohio, California, France, all over America!! But it’s always to visit family, attend a friend’s wedding or birthday, or a group trip with pals for some occasion or another. So we’re excited to switch off for a week, just us. It does say online that it’s going to rain almost every day that we’re there, so that’s a bit deflating. Paul!! I feel your rain pain.
But hey ho! We’ll make the best of it, we always do! And if the weather predictions are correct, perhaps I will find time to put a Saturday Share together for next weekend. Let’s hope not, eh? 😉
I better go pack! Anorak?! A sombrero? Perhaps some good books.
Mum will be back in the SHAC Shack again on Monday. A great way to start your week 🙂
Travel gently, friends.
Lotsa love, Grace xo
