Well, good morning, friends. Stuart here, with Monday’s Clarity Matters blog post.
What did you get up to this weekend?
My family was feeling a little restless on Saturday morning so I shipped them all off to the beach. Not a big sandy, sunbathing beach, but the type of beach that will blow the cobwebs away in an instant. It was cracking. Windy but not cold, intermittent rain and huge expansive peat hills that lead to crumbling chalk cliffs and invigorating salty air. I wonder if you can guess where about in the country I live? We went to this little spot that we’d not precisely been to before. We found this tiny section of beach which was just a solid chalk wave-cut platform, covered in boulders and a steep set of concrete steps that has begun to wear away at the bottom. Man, I loved that.
Just across from the bit of shore we stood on, you could see one of the south’s most iconic landmarks. AND, if anyone can tell me the name of the landmark in question, I’ll put your name into a prize draw to win a little Claritystamp set we have that is rather reminiscent! Simply leave a comment on this post with the correct answer and you’ll be in for a chance to win! You can just about count the peaks in the photo below, and the number of them might help you figure it out! But I’ll say no more, don’t want to make it too easy 😉
I’ll pick and announce the winner next Monday (6th July) so you’ve got a week to try and figure this one out!
Oh yes, and before I forget, we’ve also got a load of brilliant TV shows coming up. It’s a brand new month (again, blimey)! We get things underway for July, as usual, with the Pergamano Show followed by a blockbuster of a One Day Special, with Barbara’s 2-hour craft-tacular nestled nicely in between.
Firstly, we’ll be revisiting Tina’s perfect little Parchelts. They are such a brilliant idea because they give you a lot of pattern and design potential in a small amount of space, and lots of freedom to be creative when you want to work on a smaller scale, of if you don’t want to be limited by a larger design!
In that wonderful 2-4pm show on Sunday, Barbara is back with the new Feminine Corset design in stamp and Groovi. It has that dressmaker/haberdasher/shabby-chic look to them and just a little bit saucy! And, as always, this is the show when Barbara loosens the reigns and really enjoys being her inspirational, creative self. So tune in to see what’s in store.
And finally, we’ve got the first One Day Special of the month and we’ll be launching Linda’s In The Garden collection of designs in stamp format. Originally released say groove Plates on various Pergamano Shows over the past few months, not these exquisitely detailed designs will be available as elegant Claritystamps. There are 9 designs in the collection, each design including several related components suitable for putting together your garden design. There is almost limitless potential with the number of individual stamps you get across the entire collection, so it’s worth tuning in to as many of the shows as you can in order to see what Barbara and Paul will be getting up to project-wise.
Well, that’ll do from me. Clarity Matters. It really does.
