Splish, Splash!

Good day, Clarity Crafters. It’s hot and a touch muggy, today.

I could really do with dipping my feet in the paddling pool at lunch, but wifey filled it with rocks and tadpoles (which have now turned into frogs) so I won’t be doing that. Can’t even go for a splash at the swimming pool, either, can we? Better safe than sorry, for sure, but we do all enjoy the pool. I was expecting a bit of that Crowborough rain that Barbara mentioned earlier in today’s Facebook Live session – I’m only in Haywards Heath, a few miles west – but it’s been hot here all day. Rian would have made up for it.

Anyway, nothing I can do about the weather. BUT! We did find a YouTube video with the word ‘Splash’ in the title, so that will have to do.

It’s a fun little video with another one of those ‘how does something this simple look so amazing’ feels to it. Simple doesn’t mean it’s not clever, though, does it?! Well, I don’t want to give the whole thing away in the blog, so do give it a little watch, it’s not too long. And let me know what you think in the comments. Click here to watch the video on our site!

As usual, there’s 20% off everything you need from the video, and I think this one is well worth a try. Gives me ideas for my product photography it does. Hopefully, a bit better than the pics I took of those frogs…

Tadpoles…
Turn into frogs…

That’s all from me, then. Thanks for reading. Clarity Matters. It really does.

Simple is good. It sounds like a technique for mass production in the garden on a hot, still day when it will be dry before you know it. Don’t the alcohol ink sets have strange names?

Half my roof was off yesterday, so you would have been welcome to my rain, Stuart. Still, they found the cracked tiles that have been leaking, so that is good news.

The video was a great reminder of what to do with alcohol inks. The children would love to try this or at least help so will put it on the list for the holidays when hopefully I will be able to craft with the grandchildren. I was looking for this blog last night but found Dave’s for today instead then that disappeared so I think the blogland gremlins were playing up yesterday !!
