Nice Views…

Hi there friends, Stuart here with Monday’s blog.

Now, I was thinking that I might write a little bit about my week off last week and regale you with tales of annual leave adventures. But, you know, lockdown kinda hampered the original plan so it was pretty boring really. That did mean it was rather restful, though. There is something rather pleasant about pottering and not having an agenda. Plus, girl child got priority on going back to Nursery because she starts school in September. What that actually means at this stage I’m not entirely sure, but it’s good for her to get adjusted again. Anyway, I might not have anything exciting to talk about from last week, but there is plenty of excitement to talk about this week. All will be revealed in due course, bit by bit. But for now, I’ll start with this week’s TV, because there is some cracking stuff coming up!

On Wednesday, Paul Church will be showcasing the stunning views from our Panoramic collection of designs. There are four striking vistas to choose from, plus the very cute Quarterette which features all four designs in one. They have a striking resemblance to our incredibly popular Treescape design, having been designed by Mel Turner, and are sure to turn some heads.

Now, the particular brilliance of these designs is that they all work together horizontally. You can have two, three or all four (without repeat) in a row to create one ultra-wide landscape. And they work in pretty much any order, too! These designs will be on the show as Groovi Plates and Fresh Cut Dies, at 1pm and 5pm this Wednesday 17th June. Do join Paul as he reveals his very best tips, tricks and techniques for creating amazingly imaginative artwork with these sublime designs.

Sound good? We’ll see you there! If you need a bit more convincing, just have a little look below at some of those really enjoyable samples, below.

Some very nice views here, right?

That’s all from me then. See you tomorrow for more Clarity Matters. It really does – matter, that is!

Stuart

Lockdown may be frustrating but it keeps you and the family safe, Stuart. You might have been tempted out shopping if you were off this week. Two people I know have died of the virus, three if you count our fellow Clarity crafter, so perhaps I am too touchy but life seems better than a holiday. Intensive care is not a great destination, even if you are young enough to think it can’t happen to you. How would you feel if it was Barbara and you were waiting for news? Well, then – pottering is the new Spain. That’s what gardens are for! All your work and you don’t want to sit in it? You can grow veg this year without finding someone to water for you and owing them the return week or fortnight. I was home last week for my first raspberries. There’s no feeling like it when your crop comes in. There’s still time for winter veg, if you haven’t started. I must put my turnips in.

I love the quarters – and my Clarity parcels that came today! Thank you.

Thanks for the heads up on the TV for this week. I will be watching to get some more tips on how to make the most of the dies as I am sure Paul & the Design team will have come up with some more ideas.
