Garda to Geisha

Good afternoon, Clarity friends. Stuart here, hoping that you’re all doing very well indeed.

It’s a happy Monday, today, right? Yeah, of course, it is. With Barbara’s Facebook live outings, weekdays are really something to look forward too. No longer does the end of the weekend bring with it a stereotypical sense of mild dread. Au contraire, mon ami! Now, the joyous optimism of another hour of doodling with Barbara, as she helps us all stay sane during lockdown, is really doing the trick!

Speaking of doodling, Barb has taken us on quite the world tour during the past few sessions, right? From Lake Garda in Italy (one of the first Kit background scenes) to Highway One through Carmel in California and that landmark Lone Cypress Tree, all the way to the orient as we drew the Japanese Geisha today. I wonder where We’ll be going next?

Well, that’s for Barbara to decide. In the meantime, just like Barb mentioned, there is a Geisha outline available to download (just in case your version looked like more of a Sumo Wrestler – as one fan commented about their version – yesterday during the live chat)…

Simply click the link below, and you’ve got it! It’s A4, so ideal for printing out at home. Draw over it, trace it, or just have it in front of you to make it easier to draw. The height of the Geisha, FYI, is 15cm!

As always with doodling, it looks harder than it actually is. Have a go, you might surprise yourself!

Ok, that will do me for now. Few, what a fast-paced day this has been. At least at the end of it, I get to tickle some chickens – by which I mean, my children…

Clarity Matters. It really does.

Stuart.

When I first saw the title of this post, I was wondering what Clarity had to do with the Irish police force. 😁 I’m afraid that I have fallen behind on the doodling classes, but thank you for having them on YouTube so that we can catch up. I’ve recommended this series to others as well.

I love the thought of tickling chickens. Gave me a giggle. Mine are far too old to tickle, but I kind of miss those days right now.

Thanks for the geisha. I am so far behind! Still, it isn’t a race. Hope the chickens had fun.
