Gray Friday – Last knockings!

Happy Sunday, Clarity Crafters. How’s your Gray Friday weekend been? Bought yourself a few treats? Or maybe a few presents for Crafters? Maybe both?

It’s been a busy old week at Clarity Towers, what with 2 massive sales running over the week! Click here to take part, if you’ve missed out!

We’re giving you late-comers an extra special treat today and tomorrow;

If you place an order with us today AND tomorrow (why not!?) for over £20, you will receive this fantastic FREE Stencil! It’s a brand new, fresh out the oven, never seen before, not to mention seasonal Stencil – It’s Perfect for those Christmas projects.

We’ve called it Bauble Strings.

FREE Bauble Strings 7 x 7 worth £4.99

The free stencil won’t appear on your order. We’ll simply include it when we pack your Sunday & Monday orders. If you were up early today, and have already been shopping, we will include the stencil anyway.

It was Barb’s idea; We did the same thing last year, so why not do it again? After all, we make the rules around Gray Friday 🙂 It’s our little way of rewarding our Clarity Crafters.

Tomorrow, we’ll be in bright and early to carry on with the picking and packing of Blog Blitz & Gray Friday orders 🙂 It’s been a great week of sales, and again we do hope you were able to pick up whatever your heart so desired over this weekend.

The Gray Friday sale will continue until midnight tomorrow, so if you’re on the fence about that Groovi Starter Kit or Pergamano Tool bag, now’s the time to hop off! You’re not going to get a better price than this, and if you spend enough you’ll receive our Stencil gift, too.

We’ll also have a look at upcoming Thursday TV shows, a YouTube Tuesday look-in, and a new Pick of the Week promotion here at Clarity Matters this coming week. Be sure to pop back in, all. We do so love having you.

I’ll be using today to catch a breath and relax after all the picking and packing of orders yesterday. Phew!

Relaxing on the sofa with a book is the ticket, I think. And I’m making a delicious chicken stew for dinner. It’s a recipe that I’ve cobbled together over the years, and it’s very simple. Chicken Thighs (browned and sealed in the pan first), potato, onion, celery, carrot, some nice rough greens (kale works well), lots of pearl barley, with fresh thyme and rosemary, and optionally half a bottle of rich dark ale, all in a delicious chicken bone stock in the pot.

Bring it to the boil, then simmer for one hour in the pot to reduce. I recommend drinking the rest of your delicious beer of choice, if you used it, at this point in the process. It’ll help raise your appetite and lower your expectations 😉 . Then pour it into a deep roasting dish to cook for another hour in the oven on a lower heat to finish. This is when it turns all lovely and gooey. Once it’s finished, the meat should just melt away from the bone 🍲🍲🍲

Eat it straight out of the deep oven dish, with big slabs of buttered crusty bread. Or if you’re looking for a healthier option, make the stew with chicken breast instead of thighs, and pile on top of wholegrain brown rice to serve. It’s splendid in this cold weather! It’ll keep for your lunch tomorrow, too. I think it tastes better on the second day. Often the way with a stew, I find. The same is true of Chili, or a good Bolognese sauce. Always tastes just a little better the next day.

Right then, Crafters, enough waffle from me. Enjoy your Sunday. I’m off to get the stew started before I plonk down on the sofa. I’ve made my own mouth water with all this recipe talk!

And remember Crafters – Orders placed today and tomorrow for £20 or over will receive a Free Bauble Strings Stencil gift 😉

Clarity Matters. It really does.

Until tomorrow.

Can I come for lunch? You deserve a day off, or even several after all your hard work. Many thanks.

Hope you managed a good rest. after the blog. Who needs a gym with all that packing? Thanks for the recipe – I was wondering what to give the carnivores at Christmas. Well, not on The Day, obviously. You’re right that stews taste better the next day. Perhaps it is just that we don’t have all the cooking from scratch then.

Stew sounds lovely, will mention it to Hubby as he’s the cook in our House. Got my order in on monday so looking forward to receiving the bonus stencil 🙂
