Saturday Share time!

Hello hello! Grace here.

I hope this finds you content, safe and warm! It is freezing in New York… but I’m strangely grateful for it. Thinking of my poor friends and acquaintances in Los Angeles. Absolutely awful. I hope we’re all at least counting our own blessings, and gaining a little perspective. I know I am.

Thanks for joining me for our weekly artwork share, where I showcase a small section of fabulous cards found on Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide.
Fetch that cup of whatever soothes you and settle down to marvel at these works of art with me…

Incredible! There were so many to choose from, but these cards really just caught my eye. I’m sure you agree at home that they really deserve a second showcase! And perhaps you missed some of them on Facebook this week. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!

The AMAZING Clarity Design team often help me online, assisting with social media policing, posting artwork and links and even… finding products in your Saturday Share cards. I’m good but there are SO many stamps and plates now, and they really know their stuff on a much deeper level. You know… sample-making! It’s almost like a game. I send the photo of the card that I’m struggling to place or dissect and they often jump to tell me what product it is. LOVE them. I think we all agree that Jane is absolutely top of the class. Hahaha! She just knows everything, it’s actually wild. But the whole team are so brilliantly helpful. And I really appreciate them all. I enjoy working with them, particularly on our social media platforms. And getting to hang out at the Open Days. They all have different perspectives and creative flares.
For example, Tina Morris pointed out how Ann Coombes used the white Pergamano brads within the border design in her card. Look ^^^ I hadn’t even noticed! So cool. Scroll back up and see if you notice things that you didn’t clock the first time. Maybe tell me in the comments 🙂

Anyway, it’s been a fabulous first week back at Clarity Towers; a new Clarity product launch, a stamp collaboration with our good friend Janice (available to purchase soon!) and loads more!
You can catch up on all of our recent Live streams, HERE.

Also… if you haven’t yet joined our new Facebook group ‘Clarity Crafts Mini Makes & ATCs‘, you can find it HERE.
We’re in the mood to get our mojo back, and we think that mini makes are a way to do that! 🙂

Such a lovely stamp, my favourite. You must be a mind reader as I was thinking of ideas using this stamp yesterday.

    Hi Grace

Clive must have been reading my thoughts I was going in my craft room this weekend and was thinking of using my heron stamp for a project. It’s such a beautiful stamp. I have been in the stamp club since 2014 and I put them all in date order yesterday and my head is buzzing with id especially for the mini makes.

Thank you Barb and Clarity Team for everything you all do.

Hi Grace, it is cold, frosty & foggy here this morning but dry so there is a bonus somewhere there !! Just watched the weather forecast on the TV & it is warmer in the north of Scotland than down here in the south of England & Europe. That doesn’t happen very often. Feel so sorry for those that have lost their homes due to the fires in LA.
I went back & looked for the brads on Ann’s card – its great when you can hide them in the design.
Loving the mini takes etc, I think a lot of us loose our mojo over Christmas – I for one had to pack things away whilst we had visitors for 4 days. Now I am trying to have a serious decoke of craft material that has been bought over the years & hasn’t seen the light of day for ages. I know some of it has been there since the early 2000 when I was stocking up for my retirement – then I found Clarity & everything changed 😂
Long may Clarity continue to flourish & grow as it has over the last few months – teamwork !!

Clive, thank you so much for your kind words. I love yours, Christina and Julie’s. I always admire Stamped cards as I’m not too good at it (yet!)
Well done to everyone in the Saturday share.
Good idea with the brads, Ann.
Stay warm and well everyone x

I love this wonderful display of creativity this week. I appreciate everyone’s efforts and a few creations have sparked some ideas for my own creative endeavours. I have gone back and forth through this week’s gallery, taking my time to really absorb the fine details of these delightful set of cards. It has certainly lifted my spirits on this cold Saturday morning (at time of viewing).

Jeanette Walker’s card has made me smile, particularly as it conveys a sense of fun. Helen Stevens’ card I find that I am drawn to for its clean simplicity and excellent Picot cutting. I am becoming quite addicted to Picot cutting thanks to Glynis Whiteheads encouragement at the Open Days.

Julie Dunn’s card is stunning as the Bow Wob Paper background really draws the eye into the Picture. I also really like Clive Welch’s card which exudes simple elegance and seems to impart a sense of calm. Eileen Godwin is a great lady to be inspired by; I often watch her videos on YouTube.

Ruth James’ colouring is mesmerising. I hope to do more colouring practice this year, particularly as it is the year of colour at Clarity!

Sheila Stacey – I love the way you have changed and combined plate designs. Ann Coombes’ card I am also very drawn to and has given me an idea for an upcoming family members birthday card this year. Such clever use of brads, which I spotted straight away as the brads are whiter than the embossed dots!

If I haven’t mentioned a name from this week’s gallery, as I said above I really appreciate everyone’s efforts and doesn’t mean that I didn’t like a card, just mentioned creators whose card ideas stood out to me.

Have a nice weekend everyone and stay warm.

Hi Grace, thank you so much for choosing my card. I often try, if I can, to incorporate the brads into the design for my cards. The small Pergamano brads are perfect for this. After all the lovely comments I’ve had on the group page I think I’ll be making another card using this design later, my craft mojo is definitely coming back.

Hi Grace, thank you so much for selecting my card this week, it’s so uplifting when this happens, also thank you to those who have mentioned my card in the comments x
Isaac hasn’t received it yet as his birthday is on Monday. I’m so glad it turned out ok as I can’t find all my craft stash at the moment as Isaac, his baby sister, my Grandaughter and her Partner stayed with me and my husband for the week over Christmas which was lovely but quite hectic!
They live in the highlands of Scotland and my daughter has just driven the ten hours to be with them on his birthday ( and to take all their Christmas presents home to them)
Hopefully this weekend I can sort out my craft room which doubles as the main spare room so I had to hide lots of stash, and guess what? I haven’t found it all yet!
I love Clive’s card and the heron is one of my favourite stamps so I will be using that again soon. These groups are so inspiring and I feel as if I know lots of you, so thanks again for the clarity community.
My heart goes out to all in California who have lost so much, it puts everything into perspective doesn’t it?
Have a good weekend folks and appreciate the little things xx
