Groovi SHAC time!

Hello! Grace here.

I hope you’ve all had a good week. It’s been a weird one. Anyone else? I don’t know about you but a lot of people have been saying it’s been a particularly ‘trying’ week. The moon perhaps? It’s rained most of the week here. On one hand, surely that’s got to keep people inside more right, as numbers increase? On the other hand, it means I haven’t left the house at all. Not the healthiest.

Anyone else going a bit stir crazy?

hahaha!

It is tough, but we know what we have to do. We’ve already done it. And many of us have it a lot easier than most. I certainly do, and I try to remind myself of that OFTEN.

I’ll keep it light and positive today! Because I can. It is so easy to get into a negative spiral, isn’t it? It’s an active CHOICE not to. Remain upbeat. Keep pushing forward. Stay calm.

I must take a note out of Dave’s blog on Wednesday and get back into meditation. I know I know, I’ve said it before. It really does help balance your thoughts. To me, it’s essentially a way of training your mind to become more balanced. If you practice letting your thoughts come and go like clouds or traffic for 5 minutes a day, it makes sense that eventually it will start to help your thoughts habitually come and go in the same calm way, whilst not meditating. I find that whenever I actively practice it, I’m much better at not reacting to things or flying off the handle. It’s that simple really…

Some uplifting news! I voted EARLY yesterday 🙂 And it took 5 minutes. Result! It has taken many of my friends 3+ hours. But ours only took 5 minutes. We wrapped up warm and waterproof, grabbed some umbrella’s, our early voting cards and walked just down the street. I was prepared to wait hours, so it was made even better when we skipped right out of there 5 minutes later with our stickers, wristbands and smiles.

Feeling very happy with myself ^

Beautiful creations. Well done everyone. I agree Grace got to stay positive but it is hard at times, especially if it rains. Got a visit from our son this afternoon before we move up a tier and are not allowed visitors again. X

Hi Grace, just catching up, read the blog yesterday but realised that I hadn’t put a comment. Thank you for choosing my card for the weekly selection. Another great selection of ideas using the template but different plates.
