SHAC – Safe, Happy And Creative

Hi there, Steven here.

Happy Thursday! I hope you’re well?

It’s been an unusual year so far hasn’t it? When the virus first broke out we were all in limbo and unsure with what to do with ourselves, weren’t we. I for one didn’t know if I was coming or going. It seems a long time ago now that there was a scramble for loo roll in the supermarkets and people were stockpiling. We needed a distraction away from it all.

But so many good things have happened too. It is always good to try to focus on the positives. So that’s what I shall do.

Let’s start with our SHAC motto, SAFE, HAPPY, AND CREATIVE or, if you like, STAY HOME AND CRAFT – and the SHAC live doodling and colouring videos that Barbara has been doing!

Since it’s inception, thousands of you have participated in the daily doodle and colouring sessions on Facebook. We’ve been overwhelmed by the wonderful feedback of the Facebook live SHAC Shack and Groovi SHAC downloads. We’ve kept each other company through a difficult time and have become closer than ever before. We’ve ALL played an important role in keeping each other company.

For that reason, I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for being there.

Sorry to waffle. I think it’s important that WE as a community have looked after each during these unprecedented times.

Here are some lovely comments you’ve posted on Facebook ❤️

Moving on to a slightly different subject, I’d like to draw your attention to our Pick of the week. It’s a Thursday thing, and I wouldn’t want you to miss the next special offer.

This week, save 20% on the Skyline Mask Set. Our clarity mask sets have always been a favourite, and the Skyline set is no different. So, if you’re looking at trying to create some nice skyline backgrounds then these are just the thing you need.

Anyway, that’s it from today.

Take care. I’ll catch up again with you on Sunday.

Clarity Matters. It really does.

Steven x

Thank you Steven, yes the daily sessions with Barbara have been a life saver. It has given a focus to each day. I have achieved some things that I thought I was not capable of. My colouring still needs improvement but I keep trying. It is certainly addictive. Thank you to Clarity.
Barbara mentioned something would be happening tomorrow to do with the ‘Open Days’ but I cannot find information anywhere.

Can’t believe it is Thursday again, missed last weeks offer on the folder for the stencils but never mind I am sure there will be a few treats over the weekend in lieu of the Open days. No doubt all will be revealed tomorrow!!
Thanks to you all at Clarity for keeping us all with something to focus on during the last few months.

Thank you Clarity for keeping us all focussed and calm during these strange and unprecedented times.
Like Barbara says often, this too shall pass, and on the other side of this pandemic, our Clarity family will be even bigger and better than before, xx

I would like to say that without people like Barbara Gray there would have been some very lonely crafters, we’ve had our classes postponed and don’t know when they’ll start again, but with the daily doodling and colouring it’s kept our Mo jo going. Thank you clarity

I love the 10am sessions. I often just watch and enjoy the banter and anecdotes, knowing that I can come back and watch the recordings later on.
