Picking, packing & foam-painting!

Hi there. Stuart here.

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend?

Steven, who was going to write today’s blog, has popped into the office to give Paul ‘Pergaman’ Church a little helping hand to get all your orders out. Whilst I’m sure you appreciate that things can be a little slower during times like this, we are doing our best to ensure your parcels get to you as quickly and as safely as possible. Steven certainly knows what he’s doing! Many a year did he spend picking and packing before his exploits into the marketing world!

Now, I was planning on posting about this a little bit later in the week, but I thought I might as well share it today. In the spirit of keeping ourselves sane with crafting, just like Barbara and her FB live sessions, my little family have been attempting many different activities. From bath fishing to ‘junk modelling’ my wife has been contriving an endless stream of ways to occupy two pre-schoolers! Not just a mindless time-killer, these mildly creative activities are rather mindful and energising. Much like Saturday’s ‘foam painting’ session. The kids won’t enjoy fine-line doodling with a Micron pen, but they did enjoy a paintbrush and muffin tins filled with shaving foam mixed with food colouring! And we parents had fun, too!

Scarlett likes to make a mess…
Even Daddy had a go!
We’re just glad Harvey didn’t try to eat it.
Mummy was taking it quite seriously!

We hung them on the line to dry. Job well done. A fun time enjoyed by all! Art therapy, hey. Good for the soul.

Well, that’s probably enough for now. But just before I go, it’s probably worth giving a little mention to our colouring postcards. If you managed to catch Barbara this morning on FB, you might have noticed that she spoke about them. She’ll be using them soon on the live shows as she works through some therapeutic colouring-in sessions. We’ve got a great price on them at the minute, so worth picking up a pack or three, ready for when she uses them. Click the image below to buy now.

Anyway, enough from me.

Don’t forget to stay Safe, Happy And Creative.

Stuart
