Saturdays Are For Sharing!

Hi! Grace here.

This has been another fantastic week of incredible artwork being shared! The Clarity cards are definitely harder to find now amongst the HUNDREDS of glorious doodles, but I enjoy seeing all of them. You’re all so creative and talented, it’s quite mind blowing.

So, here are the beautiful FIVE favourites that have jumped out at me this week!

Stephanie Cunningham
Ann Pendergast
Carol Webber
Sue Holland
Eve Hammond

Okay okay… one more! I cannot resist.

Enid Findon

I hope you all have a calm and peaceful Easter weekend! I better go figure out how to make a Sunday roast dinner from what is already in the fridge… hmmmm! I would do bad things for my Mama & Dave’s roast dinner right now. I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s going to be more homesick than usual this weekend! Try not to be sad. Count your blessings. There are always so many if you dig deep enough <3

Love & light to you all!

Grace xoxo

Thank you for choosing my card Grace, I’m really chuffed. At first I thought I must have copied someone else’s card then realised it was mine! Hope you manage to enjoy your Easter whatever you do x

A beautiful selection of work! It’s certainly a different Easter this year. Although able to keep in touch it’s difficult knowing you can’t see them. Enjoy your Easter however you spend it xx

We are always invited to my Niece’s on Easter Sunday whch is really lovely but obviously not on this year, will miss the lovely roast dinner, we take the wine and sweet. Nevermind we will count our blessings, we are still here and hopefully will have next year to look forward to. You and Mark have a lovely Easter and make it the best for you. xxx

Hi Grace, what beautiful cards from the lovely ‘Clarity family’. Whilst you are missing the comfort food provided by Mum & Dave; the flip side is that you won’t have spend extra hours exercising to shed too many gained pounds afterwards (lol). I’m sure they will treat you when this epidemic is over. Wishing you and Mark a wonderful, but safe Easter. x

The cards from Carol and Sue blew me away as I know the amount of work that goes into them, but all the cards chosen are lovely.
No roast for us this weekend. Two weeks ago our butcher delivered all our meat for a month – or more – as we were going in to lockdown. It is quite exciting going through the freezer seeing what we have. So….no roast…..fresh fish tonight, duck breast tomorrow and fillet steak Monday. Got my bread, milk, veg and salad delivered this morning so we are all set for another week.
We will get through this and comeout the other side stronger than ever.
Hugs to all 🍒 still smiling😊😊😊

Happy Easter to you and Mark, I am feeling it today, as my family are over the world. I am on my own, but have good neighbour’s and friends. Family are going to try to get together on FaceTime at 8 pm my time..my granddaughter is in the house with a friend in Chicago, so have told her to look out for you, I gave her quite a bit of groovi last time she was here. I expect she has had to leave it in Washington state iniversity.
It’s a lot easier being In with all this gorgeous weather, at least I have the garden .

Hi Grace, you have chosen a lovely selection of cards this week. Its amazing though how many doodles are showing up on the Clarity Facebook page – fantastic how many are joining in. Yet another weekend when we would normally spend it with family but what will be will be & if it needs us to stay apart for a few months & be safe that is what we must do. We will be able to make up for it later. I think there will be a lot of celebrations & get togethers later on this year.
I need to check out what our homework was from Friday’s doodle session as I have a feeling there was some !!
Hope you manage to create a lovely meal from what’s in your fridge – remember Ready Steady Cook. In fact it came back on our TV’s a few months ago – it always amazes me how the chef’s conjure up such delicious meals from random items. Have fun & enjoy the rest of your weekend x

Such beautiful cards – a real ray of sunshine for us all. Hope you can find some Easter fun, even if the roast will have to wait a while. It will taste sooooo good when you finally get to share it with your family x

Yay! It loaded first time! Gorgeous art work from everyone. I’ve been catching up on the doodles today. Internet plays hide and seek at times, so I got a bit behind.

I think we will all be missing loved ones that would normally be coming round during the Bank holiday. Its my son’s 40th birthday on the 14th, and it feels weird that we aren’t gathering for a birthday meal.

Still, he and Jo are able to work from home and keep safe, even though they are key workers. So there are many blessings to be counted.

Pete has been working out in the garden, and the birds are in full throttle, frogs producing lots of spawn and it looks like we are in for a bumper harvest of Apple’s, plums and hazel nuts again this year! Many blessings indeed!

Been thinking of you lots Grace xx

Just face timed with my two older boys and their girlfriends at their respective homes. I did a video chat as I miss seeing them. 3rd son is in bed as he’s just completed a third night at the Care home where he works. Just got to get hold of my parents now. Stay safe Grace.

The full time job at the moment for all of us is staying in. We are the biggest protection force ever seen, with units all over the world, but we will win this battle. I hate the hours and the pay is awful but there are some wonderful freebies and the colleagues are the very best. Your mum had soft boiled eggs in the garden the other day. Have you got eggs? Open the window and imagine you are in their garden then. No eggs? What else does your mum cook that you do have? Eat that in the ‘garden’. The great thing about imagination is that you are never confined – you can go anywhere you like, any time you want. Stay safe – you are one of our essential workers, leading the fight. Every piece of art, every doodle, every card, every blog, every new recruit welcomed is an act of resistance. Homesickness, pah! We eat homesickness as a snack before breakfast! Chin up, General Grace. Your troops have your back.
