Perfecto Pergamano

Good morning, all. Jordan here. How has Monday started for you? Here on the farm, it’s very chilly and very bright. A lovely Autumnal morning all around.

Did you join us over the weekend on Hochanda? Yesterday we launched our Pergamano Handbook for Multi-Needle Tools Volume Two, and it’s proven unbelievably popular!

No wonder, really. It’s fit to burst with hints, tricks, tips & techniques to advance your skill in the world of parchment craft, whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned parcher. It’s an absolute wealth of expertise and insight – the kind that only Linda Williams can provide. Goodness me, she really is a goldmine of parching know-how.

If you missed us yesterday, today’s shows are running at 9am, 1pm & 5pm on Hochanda, hosted by Barbara Gray & Paul Church.

Whilst I’m at it, over on our YouTube channel we have a handy playlist of demonstrative videos on our range of Pergamano tools. Click just here to go and have a look. We’ll be updating the playlist with newer tools as we go. The first one in the series is just below;

And do pop back tomorrow for Simon’s YouTube Tuesday post.

Clarity Matters. It really does.

Until next time!

    Damp and chilly here in my corner of the US (52 F/11C deg), but considering it’s the end of October, that’s not bad. Haven’t even had a frost yet, which is unusual. Got the Vol. 2 bundle set last night. I was on the fence, but watched the demos and saw how much detail is in the book. Linda explains things so well and there is so many different patterns you can create with each tool.

    I want to add that Barbara’s last minute demo of stamping on shrink plastic was hysterical. Really made me giggle at how she was trying to squeeze in that last minute demo. Also, the camera work at Hochanda is really superb. The close up work shows every detail.

    Barbara cracked it with the Baubles (ordered) and Linda’s book and bird plates (ordered) rocked and the demos were superb. The fact that Barb and Paul are relatively new to “proper parching” is hard to believe, they do so very well. Fortunately I was able to save some money as I already have most of the tools even though some are the old style with the blue handles (left over from teaching at workshops yonks ago!!). In the past multi needled tools were not my favourites. If I get on better with the tools using Linda’s new book I may have to consider replacing some of them as the pink tools are so much easier on the fingers.
    Been bright and sunny for most of the day but very cold. Don’t like these dark afternoons, roll on Christmas when the days slowly but surely start getting lighter.

    Just finished watching Paul on Hochanda – great shows over the weekend, thank you. I ordered Linda Williams’ book No.2 around 18.03 hrs yesterday – an email today 17.00 hrs tells me it is on its way! How great is that! So looking forward to receive it though I’m still getting to grips with No.1. The instructions (and projects) are just wonderful as is the Groovi system as such – just love it, one of the best finds in my old age. Thank you Claritystamps, THANK YOU LINDA WILLIAMS – GET WELL SOON, we need you to demonstrate for us. In fact a tutorial DVD would be wonderful to have ….. Best wishes to all.
