Saturday Share: A Creative Start to the New Year

Hello hello! Grace here,

Happy New Year, friends! The Saturday Share is BACK, and it feels so good to be starting the year with creativity, colour, and a whole lot of inspiration from this wonderful community. After the quiet pause of the festive season, it’s a joy to see hands back making, experimenting, and sharing again.

This week’s gallery is full of thoughtful details, solid ideas, and the sort of creativity that’s better shared with others. Let’s jump right in, I say!

Grab that cup of whatever soothes your soul (preferably something warm at this time of year!) and put your feet up. It’s time to enjoy these works of art together…

Malcolm (Olivia O’Connell’s brother) – This is his 2nd ever Groovi card! WHOA.
Linda’s Enjoy the Little Things Companion A5 Sq Groovi Plate

Cor! Quite the impressive share, right? So much talent, personality, and imagination in one place — it’s been a joy to look through this week’s work. Certainly the highlight of being back in the work saddle! Thank you to everyone who shares, comments, and takes part. If a piece made you pause or inspired you, perhaps let the maker know. Or us in the comments 🙂

Friends! On a personal note I start a fantastic new audiobook next week, so I may not be able to manage a Saturday Share… I do have Thursday off though, so if anyone fancies volunteering to make the selection by Thursday AM, I will gladly still put together a blog for you all 🙂 Let me know! grace@claritystamp.com
I honestly do think other people making selections is important. We all have different tastes and various things speak to us differently! If not, the SS blog will be back the following weekend!

Now, let’s take a gander at the weekly schedule ahead…

Monday 12th January:
10am – In the SHAC with Barbara – Live on Facebook & YouTube

Morning Grace, wonderful selection as always, thank you for sharing.
I hope to get back into crafting this coming week when I have finished putting felt beaks on the lovely Easter chicks that a friend has crocheted for her local hospital and hospice- only forty more to go!

Hi Grace & I quite agree there have been some fabulous creations over the last couple of weeks. Its great to see new people like Malcolm having ago – certainly he took to Groovi like a duck to water. I think Olivia may have lost some of her stash 😂. I have just been working out what cards I need for the next couple of months, I have got a few special ones to do so have retrieved the plates & stamps before packing everything away.
The snow & ice are keeping us indoors today so maybe I will get some crafting done – SHAC inky project is top of the list so it is dry for Monday.
Hope all goes well with your new audio book, no doubt your mom will tell us all about it once it is available as there are several in the SHAC that like listening to your audible books.

New Year Greetings to all. I’ve had the agapanthus plate for some time now and Lesley has inspired me to take it out and make a card when I’ve finished the ones currently on the go and needed late Jan/Feb.I’m sure you’ll do a fantastic job on the new audio book.

Happy New Year Grace. Lovely to see the Saturday share back with some superb offerings. The Agapanthus really stood out for me, it is one of my favourite Groovi plates and I have used it many times for different occasions.
I am currently housebound and going out of my mind with inactivity so it was great that a friend pulled together all I needed to do some parching for the next week or so. I keep telling people how restful and calming Groovi can be. Hope they are listening.
Hope all goes well with the new book. I’ve set hubby the task of finding your books for me to listen to. I do love an audio book as well as the paper kind.

Thank you for choosing my card as one of this Saturday’s shares. I gasped when I saw it. You’ve made my weekend. The other choices were fantastic. So many talented people. Thanks again x

      Happy New Year, Grace.
Thanks again for your selection of great artwork posted by members of our talented, Clarity community.
Hope all goes smoothly (and why wouldn’t it?) with the new book reading.
I’m currently in the throws of re-catalogueing my Groovi Plate stash (my original file somehow got corrupted – really frustrating) but a kidney infection (I only have one so have to take it seriously) has halted that task. Despite that I am hopeful 2026 will be a good year all round.🤞
