Saturday Share: Handmade Highlights for the Festive Season

Hello hello! Grace here.

It’s Saturday again, which means it’s time to shine a little light on the wonderful creativity bubbling away in our Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide communities. Every week, you share such a range of artwork — different styles, different techniques, different stories — and it never fails to remind me just how special this crafting family is.

As I’ve been scrolling through the groups over the past few days, a familiar pattern emerged: thoughtful composition, clever use of colour, and those unmistakable Clarity touches that make each piece feel so personal. From elegant parchment work to bold mixed-media designs to simple yet effective stamping, there’s a bit of everything in the mix this time — and it all deserves celebrating.

So grab that cuppa, settle in, and enjoy this week’s beautiful collection. Whether you’re here for inspiration, relaxation, or a quiet moment of creative company, I think you’ll find something that makes you smile.

Thank you for another week of beautiful inspiration — it really does brighten the place up. Your makes, your generosity, and the way you cheer each other on are what keep these groups so special. I’m already looking forward to seeing what appears next… so keep sharing, keep experimenting, and keep enjoying the process. 💛

Okay, so question for you guys… how are you really feeling as we head toward Christmas? Ready and raring to go? A bit overwhelmed? Slightly underwhelmed? Somewhere in the messy middle? Tell me what’s going on for you — every year lands differently, and it’s always reassuring to hear we’re not alone in it.

If crafting is helping you stay grounded, calm the noise, or just carve out a little pocket of joy in the chaos, I’d love to hear about that too. Sharing our makes is lovely, of course… but sharing the why behind them can be just as comforting. So pop a comment below and let’s have a little check-in together.

Here’s the schedule for the next week…

10am – In the SHAC with Barbara – Live on Facebook & YouTube

Brilliant collection. Lovely to browse. Very lack lustre here due to medical procedures and awful dental work. I lose myself just watching Clarity tv and marvelling at the inspiration and skill. Wishing everyone a peaceful Christmas

Fabulous selection once again this week, thank you. Getting there now with all the prep, cards done & sent as can’t rely on the post anymore. Presents wrapped & labelled. Crafting time now just for me to have a play as the essentials have been done.

      Great selection as always, Grace.
I do enjoy Christmas but, these days, don’t get overly excited with the run-up to it. Decisions will have been made as to where and with whom we’ll be spending the time, cards are bought (yes bought) and posted, meals for the 24th, 25th and 26th are planned and that’s about it.
My artificial tree gets decorated on Christmas Eve (watching a black and white film on the tele if there’s one showing and it’s then I start to feel Christmassy) and comes down on the 12th day of Christmas.

lovely cards again this week thank you Grace. All settled into our new house, cards done and all on target with wrapping etc. Feeling christmassy but also aware of those not so fortunate and lost loved ones. Grandchildren keep the sparkle and magic there though which is lovely. x

Hi Grace, no doubt you are looking forward to flying home to be with all the family over Christmas. Thankfully these days keeping in touch isn’t as hard as it was with all the various tech methods that have developed over the last few years – but a real hug is the best !!
I am trying to stay calm & organised although easier said than done. Today I plan to wrap presents & write final cards then I now Christmas is sorted. We are going to our daughters for Christmas so there will be four generations gathered for the 2 days plus a 6month old cockerpoo – could be interesting !!
Then next week more boxes to pack of the non essential items so we are ready to move stuff when the solicitors open after the New Year as it is doubtful that everything will be completed before the holidays. Not the relaxed move we had planned but we have a plan B if needed.
For some this time of year is always difficult so we must think of them as well – crafting & Clarity is a lifeline for many which they turn to when times are tough.
Looking at the letters that have been hidden with BIP they will keep us occupied for a while but there are another 11 to go so maybe something will magically make sense.
Thank you to everyone that have posted their cards on the Facebook pages, there have been some fantastic designs & like Ann Pendergast said it makes you want to carry on making them. Thank you to you as well Grace for doing this blog every weekend showcasing those extra special ones that just deserve another showing.

    Beautiful cards, as ever.
I’ll be putting my tree up this weekend. We’re having a quiet Christmas Day on our own.
Christmas Eve at my daughter’s and Boxing Day meeting in laws.
Christmas has been turned on its head the past couple of years, difficult times, but hopefully will resolve in time.
Have a safe flight ‘home’ Grace, and enjoy every second of being with your loved ones. 🫂😘 X

Thank you Grace for a lovely selection of art. I’ve still got some Christmas cards to do, hoped to have them all done by now, but best laid plans have gone out of the window! At the moment, I have just put a fibre optic tree in the window, my main tree will go up after I’ve finished my cards, along with some other decorations here and there. Safe travels home. xx

It has been hard for us this year and where the tree, lights and decorations would all be up, all non perishables in stock by 2nd December, we have had to cope with hubby in hospital and me having chemotherapy and my own stay in hospital. Christmas this year will be a quiet one for us. I did manage to finish the cards yesterday though, all inspired by Clarity.
Thank you for showing these lovely cards every week, they really are inspiring.”

    Hi Grace,
What a beautiful selection of amazing artwork, thank you so much for sharing.

I can’t explain it but I seem to be even more reflective this year and missing passed loved ones more than ever. I lost my Mum in 1991, my Dad in 2003, my oldest Sister in 2007 and a treasured best friend in 2010. Even though many years have gone by it just seems to be a real struggle this year as Christmas becomes ever closer. But can I say I spend every hour I can watching Clarity tv in all its genres sometimes live, other times on catch-up. It has been such a godsend and the most amazing Company and pick-me-up and I am so very grateful to you all. xXx

    Beautiful selection Grace!

You asked how we are feeling, really…..so here goes……
I am feeling totally overwhelmed – moving house is so stressful……so many boxes to unpack and still so much stuff left at the old house to sort out or bring over here before the end of the month – oh yes and there’s Christmas somewhere in the middle of that I guess……..not feeling very enthusiastic I am afraid, just surviving – one box at a time, one day at a time……this too will pass….eventually!

Looking forward to when this is all done and I can get back to my parchment craft again – having major withdrawal symptoms I think…!

Beautiful artwork and so much inspiration. Cards finished tree up but have not got one Christmas bone in my body at the moment. We have our daughter, granddaughter and grandson for Christmas lunch so will have to find the spirit of Christmas from somewhere but as your Mum always says this too shall pass. Into the craft room go I to stop the thoughts in my head spinning always works. Can’t make any sense of the letters found with Bip at the moment but still a few more to be revealed. Safe journey home Grace and have a wonderful time with your family.❤
