Ingredients

KISS By Clarity – Tina’s Flowers Doodles Stamp & Stencil Collection (STA FL 11483-A5)
Tina’s Happy Birthday A6 Stamp Set (STA-FL-11473-A6)
KISS Ring of Stencils – Set 1 (STE-PA-00906-XX)
Indian Summer Designer Paper (ACC-CA-30524-88)
Indian Summer Companion Paper (ACC-CA-31338-88)
Distress Oxide Ink Pad – Pine Needles (INK-DO-50466-XX)
Distress Oxide Ink Pad – Fossilized Amber (INK-DO-50409-XX)
Black Pen (POSCABLACKMEDIUM)
Black Archival Ink Pad (INK-AR-50030-XX)
Shadow Grey Ink Pad (INK-AR-50500-XX)
PolyChromo Pencils (ACC-PE-30797-XX)
Perga Colours Pens (PER-CO-70060-XX)
6×6 Card Blank (ACC-CA-30618-66)

Method

Step 1. Cut mats and layers. First, cut the cream card to 3.5 x 3.5 inches, then cut the companion paper to 4 x 4 inches. Lastly, cut the designer paper to 5.75 x 5.75 inches.

Step 2. Stamp the round sentiment (in black) in the corner of the cream card.

Step 3. Stencil the green oxide diagonally and the yellow horizontally in the bottom left corner (with the sentiment top right).

Step 4. Use a round mask to create a halo around the sun with the yellow oxide, then draw lines and dots for the sun’s rays.

Step 5. Stamp the floral image in the bottom left corner several times in grey ink. Colour with your yellow pen and add orange and red as shown.

Step 6. Add white to the centre of the flowers. Add a few black dots to fill the gaps.

Step 7. Edge the card with a black pen and assemble the mats and layers using foam tape on the topper to raise it to give interest.

And you’re all done!

Wow! What a gorgeous inky project. So bright and happy!

Another lovely inky project to try, thanks Sonia for sharing your artwork with us. It’s amazing how different the doodle flowers look when stamped off the page. I need to finish my Christmas cards etc & then I can clear my desk & have ago at all 3 inky projects that have been shared on here. Just realised there is only 4 weeks until Christmas – need to get organised!!
Have a good week everyone, may see some of you in the SHAC – I have my Kraft card ready for tomorrow x

Love the project. Wonder if it would look good embedded. I have just watched Barbs lesson on embedding and am fascinated. I have ordered stencil paper to try embedding and I think this might be a first project. Love it. So spring like. Nice to have when we are headed for the “white world” for a couple of months.
