Saturday Share!

Hello hello! Grace here.

How are you? Well, I hope! Happy Saturday.
The weather is FINALLY looking up in New York, and I am thrilled about it.

It’s mid-May and it’s been way colder than it should be here, up until the last week or so. Of course, people seem a bit happier when the sun is out, myself included! I hope it’s nice wherever you are.

I settled down to my usual Friday afternoon activity, grabbed a cup of tea, and got comfortable at my desk to look through the MANY pieces of artwork shared on Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide.

I’ll be honest, it takes more time than I care to admit, to put this little Saturday Share Blog together. But you make it so enjoyable by posting such inspiring artwork. I’ve said this before, but it gives me some direction as the week comes to an end too. I hope that it brings you joy on a Saturday morning and encourages you to start the weekend by slowing down and just appreciating other people’s work. Or perhaps your own on occasion!

This week was certainly no exception. Epic card after epic card to pick from. Here are the few beautiful cards that I just couldn’t resist. Enjoy!

Sharon Fry
Sue Carpenter
Ronk Langton
Jackie Couling
Anita Dufton
Rosalind McLellan
Beverley Coulton
Lynne Arrowsmith
Vicki Overton
Sharon Anne King
Lynn Bates
Em Louise Fairley
Carmel Wallace
Anne Kellythorn
Susan Young
Dee Paramour
Gill Wilding

FABULOUS! Insanely good actually. And all in their own way, their own mediums, and styles. That’s how creativity works eh? You all have it, and it all comes out in entirely different ways. I found this lovely quote by my favourite, Maya Angelou.

Too true. Speaking of creativity! Did you watch Mum’s Craftalong on Friday night? That lovely last photo of the bunch (by Gill Wilding) was the creative design ideas from the Craftalong. Brilliant!

If you’d like to rewatch or catch up, you can find it HERE. It was a lovely hang-out, very chill and creative. And made my afternoon search & save even more enjoyable. My Mum has the same effect on me, as she does you, very calming.

Friday’s Craft along with Barb!

Right, I’m off! It’s been a busy week, and it’s time to turn off the screens and go enjoy the weekend.

Travel gently, friends.

Lotsa love, Grace xoxo

Hi Grace, its another lovely sunny morning here with blue skies although I haven’t stepped outside yet to check the temperature !!
Thanks for choosing my card for one of your shares this week. I made it for my nephew, in fact I ended up with a set of 4 using an 8×8 piece of designer paper & randomly stamping over it. An idea your mom gave us a while ago but find it suitable for the male members of the family although in different colours would suit anyone really.
I really enjoyed the craft along last night – where else would you be able to craft with people from all over the world with a front row seat ? My head is buzzing with ideas with the stencil frame – might even dig some of my other stencils out – LOL- but I think the garden is beckoning whilst it is not too hot for a good tidy up & some TLC. I did a couple of hours out there the other day & filled the green bin but looking at it you wouldn’t know I had been out there. A bit like the painting of the Forth Bridge – by the time you get to the end its time to start again !!
Have a good weekend – hope your weather stays good for you xx

Lovely art work again. I have been given lots of inspiration from them. Summer has finally arrived here in England. I did some tidying in garden yesterday and off to get my hanging baskets later. Dad always said wait till end of May incase a freak frost but I think i am safe. Have got sunlounger out ready for some crafting later. Loved the craft along last night and I agree your mom is so calming. Still have Thursdays Shack Shac to look forward to this weekend too. Have a lovely weekend.Xx

Thank you for including my efforts from last night Grace. It was such a good evening! Just what I needed.
Glad the weather is improving. We’ve been in New York in May and had to get on a bus to escape the heat and another year had to buy a wool cardigan as it was so cold!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. X

Great cards! I haven’t had as much time to craft because of the beautiful weather as I’ve either been golfing or gardening. Needless to say the weather will change then I’ll be back to it 😀

    Hello Grace,
I am running late as usual, a day’s Groovi workshop with Josie and Chris yesterday and the first meeting this month, today, of our East Northants Groovi Group.
Thank you for including mine and congratulations to everyone else, especially my friend and fellow ENGG member, Anne Kellythorn.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Open Days, Grace.
    Love
