Saturday Share

Hello hello! Grace here.

I hope this finds you safe, happy and enjoying your Saturday!

Firstly, I’d like to say thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday on Wednesday! I took the day off (for the most part) but checked in a few times on FB and saw a BUNCH of lovely Birthday wishes. You’re so kind. Thank you! Thank you!

It was a lovely birthday. And we spent last night (Friday night) at a dinner and a comedy club with 10 of my favourite New York pals, planned by my fella Mark and friends. I’m very lucky to have such wonderful people in my life.

GRATEFUL.

My favourite birthday quote always grounds me when I get uncomfortable with getting older. I’m sure we can all relate to that… the time flies doesn’t it? And it’s hard not to get caught up in getting worried about that sometimes! But that’s just more time wasted. Here it is… Sometimes I read it to myself multiple times.

Privilege indeed. After a rough year of losing too many friends, far too young, this hit home more than ever. If we’re reading this ‘ere blog today, we are alive, and we are privileged. We woke up today and what a blessing that is, whether we are acutely aware of that or not.

I’m very grateful to get to the age of 32. Many people aren’t so lucky. How many years have you graced the earth? Whatever number you just mumbled under your breath… let’s just take a moment to thank the universe for allowing us to spend those *enter impressive number* years waking up everyday.

Thanks for listening to my mental nattering anyway, and joining me on a Saturday! I hope it’s lifted someone’s spirit and shifted the perspective for today.

I’ve enjoyed gathering your stunning artwork! Let’s chill for a bit and have a gander…

‘Cor blimey! What an impressive gallery of artwork. You continue to outdo yourself every week. I was just going to share artwork in support of Ukraine but these just jumped out and smacked me in the face. They need to be shown off!

AND you’ve continued to share your uplifting sun flower artwork through the past week too! I’ve gathered everything I could find. Keep ’em coming!

SUNFLOWER GALLERY:

An absolutely glorious movement of Sunflowers. Thank you for supporting it, sharing it and feeling it. It does help, it really does. We’ve donated £4000 (and counting!) to The British Red Cross in support of Ukraine so far. Thank you for doing your part.

Mum mentioned in her SHAC SHAC on Monday that you could send your lovely Sunflower cards to the Clarity office (with cash donations, not mandatory though!) and we will add it all to the growing pile of help! As always, if you have any questions please email me: Grace@claritystamp.com

Travel gently, friends. Enjoy your Saturday, whatever you’re doing.

Lotsa love, Grace xoxo

Oh My word what stunning cards, , such a talented shack of clarity folk. The sunflower cards are wonderful. I am making mine as well as knitting baby blankets,. I am finding it quite difficult thinking as to what to write inside the cards though.

Another week has flown by. A great selection of cards both general & Sunflower ones. Thanks for sharing them with us Grace. Glad you had a good time celebrating your Birthday – I could say I wish I was 32 again but then I wouldn’t have the people & things around me that I have now !!
I hope to start catching up with all things crafty next week as we have had a very busy few weeks but this week the move is now completed of my mom from her home of 68 years to a flat near us. We are nearly there just a couple of boxes to unpack.
Will look in tomorrow to see what Groovi project you have lined up for us.

Pleased you had a great birthday. Time seems to go faster as we get older but I don’t want it to go too fast as at 78 I still need another 22years to achieve my goal!!! Every morning I wake up I feel joy that I am still alive and kicking. Not much gets me down.
The cards are all wonderful and a credit to Clarity for all the money raised for Ukraine.

Beautiful selection of cards, including the sunflowers, a great deal of inspiration for when my stamp comes ! I’ve just done a very simple Mother’s Day card, a. Poppet stamped on the front of the smallest card and coloured in – handwritten greeting on the front too. I’m quite pleased with something so simple, it was Mum’s birthday on 10th so she had a fancy Groovi one for that. I love a simple card – less can definitely be more at times. That is hubby’s favourite saying – at least I’ve reached this age – he was 75 this month and know many of his mates who haven’t. Have a good weekend xx

    Hello Grace
The cards, as usual, are all fantastic.
After my beloved daughter-in-law lost her life to a brain tumour eight years ago that is my favourite saying. It is so true and I will never complain of getting older.
Glad you had a lovely birthday. Every birthday needs to be celebrated.

Thank you for including the card I made for my daughter’s 47th birthday today. Bit of a shock seeing it but really cheered me up as I’m currently a little worried as my daughter is not quite well at the moment following catching covid 6 weeks ago.
Pleased you enjoyed your birthday. Really liked the quote and seeing all the other artwork you chose.
