#ClarityOpenDayFestival – An Absolute SHAREFEST

Hello hello! Grace here

Blimey.

Last night was soooooo much fun. If you were there with us LIVE, you’ll know what I mean. It was just great energy all around! Lots of good banter, pyjamas, good company, two FABULOUS projects basically back to back. From 7pm until 11pm! Does that count as pulling an all nighter? I say yes.

Who reckons we should do that again sometime??

If you fancy catching up, you can find the first craftalong here:

Craftalong!

And the second craftalong (A.K.A. The Pyjama Party) here:

Now, in celebration of our #ClarityOpenDayFestival my Saturday Share blog will be a little different this week. We were so impressed and blown away by the artwork shared online (during and immediately after the live shows) that we just HAVE to share them here.

Be prepared to be impressed…

This talented lot made these LIVE… whilst following the Clarity Craftalong! That impresses me no end.
Like HUNDREDS of others, I was just hanging out and enjoying the company (well… not quite, I was going like the clappers behind the scenes… but I certainly didn’t craftalong!).

To watch, engage AND craftalong is an artform. And deserves to be showcased. Thank you for sharing them with us online! Impressed doesn’t even cover it.

In fact, if your craftalong artwork is featured in this blog… please email me. We have £5 gift vouchers we’d like to send to each of you 🙂 Grace@claritystamp.com

Please continue to share your favourite SHAC SHACK artwork on Clarity Worldwide. I am doing my best to collect as many as possible to share in a blog later on in the celebration. Just make sure to add ‘#SHACShare’ to the post so that I can locate it 🙂

Oh yeah! And don’t forget about Barb & Linda’s Coffee hang out on Sunday morning. It’ll be a Facebook & Youtube Live. That’ll be fun too!

Right! I’m off to lay down on the ground for a bit. I’m of course putting this ‘ere blog together late on Friday night, after the live videos ended… and I hope you don’t mind me sharing my current view with you, from my home office. I feel very blessed! Just look at this sunset.

Lower Manhattan, from Brooklyn.

Every time I look up it’s changed drastically. So I’m off to stare at it for a bit… These things move so quickly.

Travel gently 🙂

Lotsa love, Grace xo

Lovely artwork, enjoyed myself crafting along, though had to take my dog out during the “LOVE” craft along, but managed to pick it up, when I came back it. Hope you got a good rest. xx

Wow Grace, what a view! So beautiful to relax and chill to! You deserve a “lie down”, you have worked so hard to make sure the amazing artwork gets out onto this Blog! Last night was such good fun, your Mum worked hard as well, but obviously was having fun as well. Thanks so much Team Clarity, so good to have this fun celebratory weekend!

Even though I am not a stamper, I would have loved to join in last night, for the fun and company. However, my daughter and granddaughter came for dinner and stayed late, so I couldn’t. I have so enjoyed looking at the beautiful work shown above and on Clarity Worldwide, so all was not lost. Thanks everyone. XX

Hi Grace, I agree – a lovely selection of art from the craftalong last night. I must admit I only watched & dropped off during the 2nd session due to being tired having been woken at 3am by a call to say Mom had set her care alarm off & they couldn’t contact her. Turned out to be a false alarm but was really wide awake by the time we managed to contact her. Then we were decorating at our daughters house all day – I watched the first session in the car as we came home – a first for me. Then sat with a glass of cider & a plate of sausage, egg, beans & potato wedges to watch the rest. Will rewatch the 2nd session this afternoon.
Thanks to all the Clarity Team for putting on the Open Weekend x

Great artwork, did think to share my empty ironing pile. I was stood at the back attacking the ironing. By 11o’clock I had only one eye open as well passed my bedtime. But glad I was there, would not have missed it for the world. Thanks Barbara and team. xxx

Hi Grace – what a fantastic gallery of everyone’s creations from last night. Congratulations to everyone who managed to craft along with Barbara. I thoroughly enjoyed both sessions – so much banter that I spent the whole evening smiling and laugh – such a tonic in these strange times. I created a groovi Christmas card topper as no other kit with me at the caravan. I cannot wait to have a go at the two cards when I return home next week. Looking forward to the rest of the weekend but not my bank balance as I keeping adding things to my Clarity basket 😂xxx

Sad that I’m not able to see properly at mo to be able to craft and by night my head won’t take it. 😞 I am pleased however that when I get my eyesight issue resolved I will be able to sit and watch the sessions 😊. From the artwork it looks like it will be worth the wait.

Great artwork everyone. Didn’t manage to finish mine due to pesky cocker spaniel nudging my arm. Oops she needed to go out. No chance today, son and grandkids down. Granny duties yay. How I’ve missed them. Son went to see his dad in the nursing home he’s had to go into after 7 wks in hospital. Clarity Stamping and Groovi has been my saviour during this awfully stressful time. Rock on and thank you . X

It was a brilliant craft along. I don’t know how Barbara can keep the tempo up the way she does. So much fun. So companionable.
Thank you Grace for collecting the great work done by people crafting along. You’re correct Grace saying it’s a gift to be able to craft along. One I’ve not got. I get easily diverted watching or wondering about something and as a relaxed crafter ( some would say slow) no hope of catching up.

    Hi Grace,
What an evening it was and a late night for me. I have put one card on Clarity Worldwide and I am not sure if I can put the other one on as even thought I followed your Mum I didn’t have the Clarity butterfly wreath stamp (have Groovi) so used a stamp from another company. I still used the Clarity word stamp and mask. Not sure of the rules.

Wow, Wow, Wow. So amazingly pleased to see my humble artwork on your amazing blog – thank you Barbara and Grace.

Last night’s craft-along was such fun, I enjoyed myself and everywhere looked liked a bombzitit as I turned everything out looking for bits and pieces. My art is now propped where I can see it as I type, reminding me to ‘Love Life’ and ‘Dream Big’.

Yes, let’s do it again please 🙂

What great works of art in your selection Grace – a great photo of your sunset too. I visited New York about 6 years ago and loved it. I used to belong to a community choir and we visited New York to sing. The trip was about 4 days and we were made so welcome. We sang on the Red Steps at Times Square, The Statue of Liberty, Central Park at John Lennon’s Memorial (brought tears to my eyes) and many other places. Oh such memories we loved it

I’m impressed at how everyone is able to watch and do the artwork so beautifully. I need to watch later and pause occasionally so I just watched and coloured in Groovi angels ready to cut out for Christmas cards 😀
