Sharing some stunners!

Hello hello! Grace here.

Happy Sunday! I hope you’re all having a decent weekend. I’ve been working on an animal puzzle most of the weekend. I know, I know. RIVETING ๐Ÿ˜‰

How about you? Still working on Christmas cards? Or are you all finished on that front? I’ve officially mailed a few sets of presents, but still have a ways to go. The family are all sorted! Now for friends.

It’s getting quite chilly here, there and everywhere. Thank goodness for crafting. How lucky are we to have these creative, warm & safe indoor spaces to ourselves, where you can creative magnificent pieces of art like this…

Epic, right? There is a lot of stunning artwork on the groups this week! Make sure to go have a look if you’re feeling inspired by this beautiful batch.

Sometimes I have to remind myself that I’m lucky to be ‘stuck inside’ doing puzzles. Which wolf will you feed? The one telling you that you’re bored and losing your mind inside for the umpteenth weekend indoors? Or the one that just flicked the kettle on and breathed a sigh of relief that you GET to stay indoors and don’t have to venture outside to work or survive. I’ll go with the latter!

You still have time to enter the little raffle giveaway in my Friday blog. I haven’t picked a winner yet. I’d like to sit and take the time to read each comment properly, so you still have some time!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Lotsa love, Grace xo

We love puzzles as well but it is mainly my OH that does them, he has banned me as I used to fit pieces once he had gone up to bed & then he would come down next morning to find it almost completed !! We have quite a pile growing in the conservatory of done ones – even my 92 yr old mom has done some of them. Needless to say it makes for easy presents for Christmas & birthdays.
Lovely selection of cards again this week – so much inspiration & ideas that you wonder why didn’t I think of doing it like that. I finished some of my Baubles & mounted them on cards to then see people had added motifs in the corners – there is always next time & then they will look different.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend – have you got the heating fixed yet ?

Thank you for including my piece in this blog. There are always really nice bits of work to see from everyone so I appreciate it. Given me a bit of a confidence boost and I love to look at what others do with their designs.
Iโ€™m getting engrossed in the SHAC too and definitely jealous of your puzzle. I havenโ€™t got one in ready for the holidays yet although it feels all off this year.
Take care and stay safe ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ™‚

What a lovely selection of cards. I’ve almost done mine -just a few local ones to write now. I wish I had spare time to sit with a jigsaw or even a complicated card -life seems to get in the way all the time! I still haven’t finished the list I made at the beginning of the first lockdown! Today I had planned to finish off my cards, tidy away all my Christmas ‘stuff’ and then relax making a birthday card, BUT the fish tank needed a good clean, my friend next door had a blocked drain and it took forever to find my drain unblocker -I cleared out the shed and 2 cupboards before I located it, a friend rang to say she would be leaving a packet for me on the doorstep (we aren’t allowed into each other houses here) so I had to wrap her present and make up a small parcel of cakes and biscuits I made yesterday……. now I am next door to spend the evening with my friend, after I’ve unblocked her shower !! Am I the only one who just doesn’t have time to do everything?? I’ll just have to finish the cards etc tomorrow -maybe. At least I only have 3 presents to wrap (I only have 3 ‘presents’ friends and no family other than my cousin and I already posted to her).

Just love all the pictures from everyone in the Shac. They are all beautiful and made with love don’t they?
Cann’t tell what my favorite is from the Shac –will it be the doodling, or the coloring, or the baubles, or the wreath, but also love doing the Gรผd family…….
Hope you have your heating fixed by now.
    Stay save and healthy!!!
    Lots of love! Trijntje Huppel

Hope your heating is sorted. My boiler years ago go a little ball in its jet – it would fire up and then said object would drop with the flame and cut it off. It took weeks for the man to find, so I have some fellow feeling.

Have you tried carols with your puzzle? It could be the missing element. Or a book?

I am just glad you are safe and well.

Yes indeed we get to stay indoors, itโ€™s Winter , and although not really cold here in the U.K., its wet and miserable, the days are really short so not many hours of daylight…so Hibernate , enjoy your puzzles and craft away. S.H.A.C. x

Thank you for choosing my cards Grace. I never ever thought I would send Christmas cards out which I had actually drawn myself. All hail to the shac shack ๐Ÿ˜€

Hi there, Lovely cards as always, Grace. Inside is good. Warm, if your heating is working! Food in the cupboards and comfortable. We are so blessed. My favourite SHAC project was the first postcard we coloured with the birch trees. It looked so good when it was finished. Have a good day. Hxx
