Sunday Share!

Hello hello! Grace here.

Lovely of you to join me on a Sunday. I hope you’re all making the most of the weekend. Blue skies here in Brooklyn. Just got off FaceTime with my little brother Mark in SF. Blue skies there too.
That’s something to be grateful for, considering those skies were NOT blue a month or so ago. They were dark orange from the nearby fires.

And now they’re clear and BRIGHT BLUE.

Brilliant. Now THAT is something to be grateful for.

I don’t think we’ve ever gone a year without seeing each other. Either a visit to NY, or I often go to the West Coast. And then England too. It feels long. Miss that guy!

But everyone is safe, healthy and happy. And that’s good enough for me! This too shall pass. It really will. Eventually.

We’ve had a very relaxed weekend. Cooked spaghetti bolognese on Friday night. If you fancy an easy but delicious meal, check out this blog on it. My Mum’s recipe!

Saturday we stayed home, tuned into Mum’s cracking tv shows on Hochanda, did some puzzles, cooked some more, and just enjoyed each others company. Mark is relearning Spanish on Duolingo (an app) and so that is entertaining to listen to. Very funny. In a related google search I found this… which has given us many giggles since.

Manny Anna and Puck E Two were particular favorites of mine. My Mum and I couldn’t help but say these aloud and crack up. But as well as Mark, I’m also wanting to learn how to speak Spanish PROPERLY. Such a beautiful language when we’re not larking about.

I also spent a lovely chunk of Saturday afternoon exploring Groovi Worldwide and Clarity Worldwide in search of some fabulous artwork for my Sunday Share. Well, I didn’t have to look far… Check these out.

How fabulous are this week’s selection? Just brilliant! And an absolute joy to share with you.
We even have a few younger crafters included in today’s blog. The fantastic Josie Davidson’s grandchildren Emila & Cailen. Just goes to show what you can create with the right tools and imagination… at any age (and with such talent in your genes! I’m sure that helps too). Love them!

Lotsa love, Grace xo

Beautiful samples. I’m sure I a saw one of the above on TV recently and was impressed but having a closeup of their artwork is even more impressive. Great to see the blue skies back in SF. Have a wonderful Sunday.

Dear Grace. Good to read your blog, great as usual. Glad you had a nice weekend. We have had a lot of rain, but saw the sun for a short while until it started again. I was speaking to my son Michael and Karen this evening and they were saying it was a lovely blue sky. They were on their way to their old house in Tracey which they have just sold. I remember helping them to move in. When all the furniture had been moved in and we had made the beds, we then sat eating fish and chips. Wish I could go back to those days, when the children were little. Havenโ€™t seen them for such a long time.
Enjoyed the shows yesterday, I have a couple of plates like the stamps. Have got them out to make some cards for Christmas. Must get busy. Stay safe xxxx

Lovely selection of cards as always. The children’s are fantastic. Thanks for sharing mine, too. Enjoyed making those. Have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine! Grey and wet here! Not a day for a garden party, even with two people, to celebrate my 60th!! Lol. Will settle down to crafting with a lovely box of M & S chocolates I was given! A little bit of indulgence. Hxx
