The Week Ahead!

Good afternoon, crafters. I hope you are all well indeed. Stuart here, and, as we begin our new blog format, I have for you a roundup of the week ahead, and all the bits you should be looking out for Clarity-wise!

First thing to mention, then is today’s YouTube Tuesday video. We’ve chosen this video because the pattern stencils that Sam Crowe uses complement very nicely some of the dies Paul Church will be showcasing on TV tomorrow. Sam’s design is a glorious, rough, textured, vibrant project that really sparks creativity and engages the imagination. So, well worth a watch. Let me know in the comments below what you thought of it! And, if you complete the project yourself (exactly or even in part), do let me know by sending in a pic or scan to gallery@claritystamp.com. We’d love to see your work and to share it on the blog if you’ll allow us, too!

Next up, we’ve got a big old One Day Special for you. Paul Church will kick off proceedings at 6pm on Wednesday and it’s a papercraft feast to die for, featuring a copious selection of our finest Fresh Cuts. Paul will be focusing on our Panoramic Aperture and Room with a View collections, but will include other collections too. You can read more about the ODS on the main website here, but the main things you need to know are 6pm and 8pm tomorrow, and 8am, 12pm and 4pm on Thursday! It’s going to be loads of fun!

And finally, I thought I’d give a little shout out to Products of the Month. If you need a quick little stocking filler or want to top your basket up to the £10 mark for free delivery, this is a great way to grab yourself a bargain and add quality to your craft stash.

And, to help you with your die-cutting, we do have a handy pattern guide which Paul will explain about during the ODS. You can click HERE to download it. It helps to give examples of how you might overlay the Pattern Dies that will appear on the show, because, well, the Pattern dies aren’t just for using one at a time. They have been designed specifically to be layered up and look AMAZING when you do just that!

Oh yes! Barbara will also, of course, be live in the SHAC Shack again tomorrow on our Facebook page at 10am. Oh and on Friday, too. Here’s the link to our videos section on Facebook: CLICK HERE which is the place to be at 10am tomorrow. Plus, If you need anything to complete the SHAC projects such as POSCA pens, Micron Pens, Polychromo pencils and Tracing Paper, the SHAC Shack Shop should be your very first stop.

So, there you go. The meat and veg of the week. Enjoy, and do keep in touch and send us in your artwork, comments or questions.

Over and out.

Stuart.

    Hi Stuart

I enjoyed Sam’s video and I’m looking forward to hearing Paul on the pattern dies because I really like them. They are so tactile. Not only can you overlay them on each other but also on Sam’s type art, either whole or snipped. Then you can doodle on them or within them. Or stamp tiny stamps within them. or snip other dies to fill them Or put texture paste or paint through them. Stick them on stampboard to make trees. Cut felt with them. In fact, they are just great fun because there aren’t even rules about which way round they go. Unless Paul knows different!

Sam is such a joy to watch. She makes it look so easy. I need to persevere with my gel press and paints.
I watched Paul at 6pm and realise I have all the dies (how much did I spend?). He is so easy to watch. Have a good evening Stuart. Just realised I am a day behind but there we go.
