Satur-Yay!

Hello hello! Grace here,

August 1st! How did we get to August already. I’m pretty it was March a few weeks ago…

How is your weekend going? Mine is very low key! Mark and I will be staying indoors (possibly hang out on the terrace, weather permitting), get some cleaning done and have a bit of a reset.

You know when it’s needed, don’t you?

We just need to stop for a minute. Because we don’t really. We work nonstop throughout the week, and then the weekend comes and we desperately try to make some sort of small & safe social distance plan. And I’m realizing that that’s quite exhausting! Combine that with the news, the world, the politics, the pandemic and I find… that I haven’t washed my hair in a week. I don’t know about you, but I’m having to actively make time for myself.
So this weekend we do NOTHING. Except hang out with each other, cook, laze about and clean. Fun! haha. Sounds ideal to me though!

I’ve been enjoying going through Facebook this week and looking at all of your fantastic artwork. These 6 cards jumped out and stuck this week, so please allow me to share them with you…

Impressed? YEAH. Me too! The time and effort gone into these is incredible. And they certainly deserved to be showcased. Thank you for making these GORGEOUS creations with Clarity. That’s what we do this for after all! 🙂

Anyway, better go wash me ‘air!

Lotsa love, Grace xoxo

Where have the months gone? Obviously some people have been spending their time making these lovely creations – what would we do without Clarity.
My hair, normally a trial to keep short and tidy, has been allowed to grow due to the lack of a hairdresser. The strange thing is, the longer it grows the more wavy and curly it gets. Doesn’t need rollers or tongs just a blower to dry. It’s a puzzle as i’ve always had straight unbendable hair.
Enjoy your relaxing weekend with Mark.
    Stay safe🍒

Happy Yorkshire Day, Grace – and thank you for showcasing my card – I feel privileged to be in such illustrious company, as all these cards are fantastic! And so inspiring too. As I commented on Facebook when I posted my card, I had been inspired to buy the Wee Africa set after seeing cards from another member of Clarity Worldwide (Claire Metcalf). That’s what it’s all about, isn’t it.
My card was made as a birthday card for my partner’s son – he’ll be 30 today, where does the time go?! it doesn’t seem 2 minutes since we were taking him to see The Lion King original film and his Dad was recreating that opening scene, lifting the 5-year old Callum high to the skies! That’s why I chose this set for his card this year

I love that! And I immediately fell in love with your card. I’m a huge Lion King fan! Thank you for the back story! 🙂 Grace xoxox

Hope you both manage to have a chillax weekend – everyone needs one occasionally to recharge the batteries. Its hard to believe its August already – 5 months & it will be 2021 but best not to say this too loudly just yet !!
7 hours of Clarity tomorrow & Monday to watch so that will keep me occupied but will also be using the time to use some of my bits & bobs stash that has developed into a mini mountain.
Must remember to post pictures of my recent makes, I always remember when I see you weekly selection of wonderful cards !!

    Dear Grace (Clarity),

Thank you so much for selecting one of my cards to be highlighted. When I look at all of the work of others on Clarity I don’t feel I’m up to speed yet, especially with the others highlighted this week. However, you’ve given me hope to keep working at learning the new skills of parchment work that Clarity is so known for.

Enjoy your Sunday around the house for regrouping mentally and physically. One word of advice don’t listen to the news. 😉❤️

Wow I an truly honoured for my card to be shown with so many gorgeous samples. I’ve only been doing parchment for a few weeks and dont really know much about this craft. I made the backing paper myself and tried to make it colourful which is my style. Can’t wait for my next order to come so I can try picot cutting.

Thankyou Grace for beings kind to showcase my card!! Bless you!
