Feel Good Friday!

Hey hey! Grace here.

Feeling good on a Friday! How about you?

I’m working in the living room today, instead of my little office upstairs. Why, you ask? Because WHY NOT?! There are no rules anymore!!!!!!!! *MANIC LAUGHTER*

Well actually, it’s because the wifi has been misbehaving, and instead of almost throwing my fancy computer at the wall, I decided to step away and find a temporary solution!

(You know when you’re in the right mood to deal with Verizon/BT/One of those… today was not that day, so I didn’t even attempt it!)

Well, the temporary solution is to just sit closer to the modem. And it’s worked out quite nicely! I’m sat in the living room with my laptop perched atop a tray (that we use for TV dinners) with my feet up on the ottoman… all whilst helping customers and working through my daily to-do list. Could be worse!

A change of scenery at least.
Downside… now the fridge is back in my line of vision.

It’s Friday, so you know what that means. The brand spanking new Groovi SHAC Challenge is here!

Click me!

I’m particularly excited to see what you come up with this week, it’s a lovely one!

And of course… here is a selection of some extra FABULOUS cards from challenge #005 this week. Have a gander!

Chris Plaxton
Wendy Smith
Janet Chapman
Susan Robson
Akke Holzmann
Gaynor Murray
Elizabeth Sykes
Christine West
Ann Raymond
Eileen Cohen

Marvelous aren’t they? What a talented bunch you are! It’s becoming increasingly hard to choose every week.

They’re ALL shared on Groovi Worldwide & Clarity Worldwide if you want to see more of them.

I also have a winner to announce! A handful of you guessed correctly that Dave would be blogging on Wednesday and so I put you in a small raffle and picked out a name… *drum roll please*

Anne Kellythorn! Congrats!

Anne, please email me at Grace@claritystamp.com and I will arrange to have your £20 Clarity gift voucher sent to you 🙂

Enjoy your weekends, and stay safe. I’m staying indoors this Memorial Day weekend in NYC. How about you?

I have to share this funny quarantine video with you that I saw this week. Oh it did make me laugh! I’ve just watched again and couldn’t stop cackling! Let’s start the weekend with some giggles and continue to do what we’ve been doing, eh?

Don’t forget to pop back in tomorrow for Sharing Saturday!

Lotsa Love, Grace xoxo

    Hello Grace
Every week all the Groovi Shac challenge are brilliant and I agree your job must be very difficult. No winners from our East Northants Groovi Group this week but my close friend and ENGG member, Anne Kellythorn has worn the raffle. Yay.
    Love, Roz.xxx

    Hello Grace,
Thank you so much, I am so pleased to be the winner and have emailed you separately to this. I really enjoy the Groovi Shac projects but have fallen behind lately as I’ve been busy doing Christmas cards and practicing grid work. However I still download them each week and will catch up eventually. This week’s looks particularly beautiful.
Thank you again and I look forward to receiving my prize.
    Love
    Anne

Feeling cock-a-hoop (rather appropriate with what we have been doing in the SHAC SHACK this week) that my card has made your list this week. Take care and keep safe. Xx

That video was great. Especially liked the bit about going for a walk. Except then I had to watch more of his videos. Some how 30 minutes just floated by.

I’ve been really enjoying the Groovi examples you’ve been sharing. They remind me that a Groovi card does not always have to have elaborate lacework and white work. One by Mickie Wallace, using the Art Nouveau congratulations plate really inspired me. I used the thinking of you sentiment from another plate in the set and made 20 cards to send out to family near and far. (I’ve been doing this for several weeks) The only problem was suddenly realizing that I did not have nearly enough brads, so I cut an aperture in the card blank and used double sided adhesive to attach it on the inside.

Thanks for a great start to my day.

Great video and what a wonderful range of cards. Great news today that they have found the virus causes a major problem with T cells for the very ill – and they can treat it. Something to celebrate for Bank Holiday! Keep safe everyone. it’s grim but part of this battle is staying apart – and we know we can do that, if it takes every ounce of self discipline we possess.

Beautiful artwork from everyone and I’m chuffed to bits that you’ve included mine, big surprise and thank you! Love the way we all did our ‘own thing’ and I guess that’s what it’s all about…personally I’m happy to gradually be getting back into crafting thanks to the SHAC…have had trouble in motivation and concentration, so once again thank you.

Anne I hope you enjoy your prize, have fun deciding what to buy.
