YouTube Tuesday Awaits

Hi there, everyone, we hope you’re doing ever so well.

I don’t know about you, but it’s very warm and sunny where I am in Mid-Sussex. The sun is really beginning to heat up the back of our garden. We’ve got a really tall blossom tree at the end of the garden. Doesn’t appear to be apple or cherry although it looks like an apple, just a LOT taller.

Why am I talking about my tree? Well, not for any real reason apart from that our YouTube Tuesday video this week reminded me of it.

With everything that is going on right now, we’ve temporarily put YouTube recording on ice which makes it the perfect time to revisit some YouTube favourites. Our extensive YouTube library is jam-packed full of how-to videos and this week we’re taking a look back at a stamping classic.

Using the Gardens Birds stamp set, featuring – you guessed it – a Cherry Blossom, it’s a Barbara Gray, Gel Press masterclass with a really neat gradient technique in there.

You can click here (or the image above) to watch the video from our YouTube channel. It’s well worth a watch to learn how simple and easy and fun creating a really great piece of craftwork can be!

If you’re really keen to be able to replicate the design at home and follow along, we’ve got a pretty sweet 20% off the essential products used in the video, including the brilliant Distress Ink Pads. The YouTube page on our website is a great place to find those.

Plus, don’t forget – we LOVE seeing your artwork – so why not send your projects across to gallery@claritystamp.com so we can see what you’ve been up to with your Blue Tits and Cherry Blossom stamps?

Clarity Matters, it really does.

I love that set of stamps. I have the older version but will revisit the YouTubes later and maybe even have a go! The weather is just brilliant just now in Argyll so heading out to the garden for a bit to soak up some sun. Can’t be bad! Take care. Hx

I also have the original birds set and love it. Will it be possible to get the blossom separately at some point? I know it’s difficult at the moment, but it would be good to be able to get them and not have to get the birds again. I also had the church/street shown recently, but not the harbour which is also not available as an individual item. I look forward to seeing the new stamp sets split up in the future.

Gorgeous stamps. I already have them but it is great to be encouraged to get them out again. I love trees in blossom. My camellia is finishing and my apple is coming – all should be right with the world, even if only in the garden for the moment you forget.
