Daily Doodles

Hi all! Grace here.

I hope you’re all staying indoors and that Clarity is helping to keep you busy and calm! I’m making a point of following along with my Mums Clarity SHAC videos (not live, but later on in the day) as I benefit from them also! They’ve been fun! Very calming.

You can find them ALL here: https://www.youtube.com/user/Claritystamp/videos

Not sure about my dodgy looking branches from Tuesday! It’s not the end result though, but the process that makes these videos important. Whilst watching and crafting along on Tuesday, I actually had a weird deja-vu moment… to being a small child, and hearing my Mums voice guiding me through something. How lucky.

Tuesdays Doodle

Because I’m doing all the facebook stuff at the moment, I’ve been lucky enough to see mostly everyones shared doodles! And it’s quite lovely to see how each persons style is different. And how they interpreted the instructions. There is no ‘right or wrong’, and once we accept that, we’ll know that my branches aren’t ‘dodgy’… They’re just different. All of your drawings were really cool, in entirely different ways.

Which got me to thinking, I’m seeing SO many beautiful cards each and every day on Facebook… So I’ve decided that I’ll start a Saturday blog (as well as my usual Tuesday and Thursday). And that blog will solely be for SHARING. Saturdays are for sharing! And each week I will pick 3-5 of my favourite pieces of artwork shared on Facebook (I’m assuming that you won’t mind) – both Clarity Worldwide & Groovi Worldwide, and post them up on the Clarity Matters blog!

Wednesdays doodle!

It’s funny how so many of us (myself included) ‘couldn’t draw’ a few days ago and yet here we are! DRAWING TREES! And rabbits! And BIRDS.

If you haven’t tried these ‘lessons’ out yet, I highly recommend it! At any time of the day, if you start feeling overwhelmed or frightened, anxious or panicky, bored or low… we have a solution! Daily doodles with Barbara! I think it helps to ground or center yourself. Whatever that means to each of us 🙂

See you Saturday for my faves! 🙂

Lotsa love, Grace xoxo

Grace, your mum’s voice is so calming, and the daily doodle is certainly helping in keeping me calm while having to be at home. Its lots of fun to draw along and just focus on the pen and paper for a while.

Great idea about sharing Saturday, there are some lovely pieces that need an extra showing as Facebook can be a bit peculiar sometimes – you see something then when you go back minutes later you can’t find it.
Loving the morning get togethers with everyone – it certainly sends you to a wonderful still space away from all the news that although we need to know what is going on is best caught up with once a day.
Take care Grace see you Saturday x

Hi Grace what a wonderful idea! You and your Mum are doing amazing, even though you are both Just as scared as us all. It helps to have such a wonderful place to share and get involved in a little Shac mindfulness crafting. Stay safe and positive. Sending you a virtual hug! I understand how you must feel so far away from your Mum I know how that feels. Keep crafting and breath. Love and hugs.

Sharing Saturdays sound wonderful. I listen late, once to just be soothed by your mum’s voice and once to listen! Your mum calms me instantly. I think it is years of happy times listening to her teach. I feel so lucky to have found her so long before I needed her. You are great with your blogs too, such generosity and honesty. They lift my spirits.

Grace,I am there every morning with your Mum, loving the time spent learning to draw, I’m not very good but am loving the process and find it very calming in this scary world at the moment. Your Mum has a beautiful calm way of teaching us all and it’s great to see so many people crafting along.Taie care of yourselves over there, the same as we must do here.

I love how your mum’s voice becomes gradually calmer and slower as the session goes on. If I wasn’t so fired up by drawing I could be lulled to sleep listening to her lovely calming voice!
      Stay safe xx

Hi Grace, Your tree looks great. I’m glad you managed to get yourself to a better place last night while doodling and talking to your mum. It’s great that you can do that. Just look after yourself in all of this. I am looking forward to your Saturday blog now. There have been super posts on FB and it will be nice to see your favourites. Take care and stay safe. Hx

Hello Grace. I haven’t managed to get through to watch in the mornings, even though I have tried. So ended up watching later, I am no good at drawing but have enjoyed trying to follow your Mum, tried the bunch of flowers today, and had such a laugh with your Mum about the things she burnt, I have done that several times.
I have been keeping busy making cards as I have had several birthdays, and still a few more.
Hope you are ok. Stay safe Xxxx
