Clarity Care Package

Hello! Grace here.

Blimey, there’s a lot going on in the world at the moment, eh? I’m sure we’re all feeling rather overwhelmed. And not necessarily about ourselves, but our loved ones and those less healthy than us.

New York might be going into full lock down sometime soon, and so we’ve been preparing for that (without obsessively taking more than our fair share of anything!)

Of course our grocery shop was last week, so we’ve already eaten our way through 90% of the snacks we’d bought ourselves. And the 12lbs (1 stone) I’d lost since Christmas is quickly finding it’s way back to me.

That’s okay though, because unfortunately we had to cancel my 30th birthday trip to Jamaica this weekend anyway. Gutted. But there’s a lot more going on in the world than THAT right now. So, onwards and upwards. We can celebrate later.

Obviously I’m also tracking what’s going on in England and California quite intensely, as that’s where the majority of my nearest and dearest reside. I think we can safely say, at this stage, that staying indoors as much as possible is the RIGHT thing to do. For everyone.

Like so many of you, I’m feeling grateful that my new found hobby is something that doesn’t require leaving the house. And look what arrived on my doorstep over the weekend… Just in time! Great service Clarity 😉

Just a few Clarity necessities for my craft journey ahead…

(TOP TIP! Whilst everyone is emptying the shelves of toilet roll and hand sanitizer, make sure to invest in a first aid kit for your house! Or go make sure the one you already have is up to date and has all the essentials.)

I also received a special something, and have been wearing it since its arrival.

Hand sanitizer fits perfectly in the front pocket!

If you fancy being matchy matchy with us, you can get yours here.

These are hard times for everyone. We are a small business and hopefully will be able to ride this wave. We have your back… with lots of creativity still going on; from YouTube to Hochanda to Clarity competitions. Stay tuned and we’ll make sure you have plenty to do indoors.

Time to call my Mum and see how she’s holding up…

Be safe, be careful, be thoughtful.

Lotsa Love, Grace xoxo

Love reading your blogs, we’ll get through this if we are sensible and take the precautions we’re asked to and people just buy what they need instead of filling trolleys with everyone elses quotas. All they’ll succeed in is making shortages.Take care and stay safe Grace.xxx

Looks like you will have plenty to do in this current crisis.
We have had texts from our GP and have now started self isolation, both being in the “at danger” category. Fortunately I keep a well stocked freezer and non-perishable larder. I also had a good stock of cleaning materials etc as I like to keep things hygenic, hubby being health challenged. This has meant no shelf stripping for us (the shop shelves are almost naked !!!) and only bread, milk and fresh veg are a priority. Our lovely butcher delivers and will pick up any extras we need so I no panics here.
My only gripe? – had to cancel my home hairdresser !!!
Do take care of yourself Grace.

Hi Grace, whilst it’s disappointing not being able to take the trip to Jamaica to celebrate your forthcoming 30th Birthday there will be many more birthdays and reasons to celebrate when this problem resolved. It’s not where you celebrate that matters it’s the fact that you are still here to celebrate in whatever way which is more important. I’m sure the good clarity following will continue to support this fantastic company throughout this unpredictable period. Hoping you and all the family keep healthy in the forthcoming weeks.

Have fun with your new Clarity goodies. This situation we all find ourselves in is one that no one has ever experienced before so we must just take each day as it comes & work our way through it. Thankfully we have our Clarity friendship & craft to keep us going & can use technology to keep in touch with everyone. Off to check the You Tube video out.

It’s a scary world out there right now, but crafting makes it easier to bear. I was playing with my gel plate last night. I’d forgotten how much fun it is. I also want to make some Groovi lace borders that I can fill in with appropriate sentiments and designs when needed. Lots of picot cutting will help put my worries aside for a time.

Enjoy your stash of Clarity goodies. Be sure to share your creations.

Hi Grace, well you will just get longer to celebrate your milestone birthday with the trip being delayed :-). Seriously though, it is better to stay safe. Love the goody bag your received, was going to ask if the First Aid kit came with it! Take care all and look after yourselves. Bx

    Hi Grace,
Love reading your blogs! There is certainly a lot of your Mum in you. It certainly is a worrying time and I’m hoping that we all get through this safely. I would love to think that thoughtfulness for others will take over very soon especially with some peoples’ shopping habits – why does anyone need 240 toilet rolls?!! I would love to be able to put a bottle of hand sanitiser in myClarity apron pocket if only I could get some! You certainly have got some lovely Clarity goodies to play with – I’m expecting a parcel today hopefully. Anyway , stay safe and enjoy your crafting. Sorry your birthday treat had to be cancelled, but at least you’ve got it to look forward to hopefully in the near future. Love and hugs,Alison xx

    Hi Grace
that looks like a very timely care package from Clarity Towers – we’ll all have lots more time for crafting now (although as a recently retired senior nurse I’m expecting to be back in work soon!) No doubt lots of us are planning on ordering care packages to keep us going as well 🙂 You must be so disappointed about your birthday trip, but as everyone above says, you’ll be able to do that later in the year. Your new role at Clarity is so timely, and I’m really enjoying your blogs. Keep safe
