TV Preview/Lucy’s Folkart Groovi Collection

Happy Monday, everyone! Stuart here. How was your weekend?

Today we’re looking ahead to this week’s One Day Special on Hochanda, across Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd of January, hosted by Paul Church.

Paul will be launching Lucy’s Folkart collection of Groovi Plates which is very exciting indeed. Lucy is one of our in-house illustrators; She draws up and digitises a lot of our artwork and she’s delighted with this particular set – the first of her very own design and the first she can put her name to.

In her own words, Lucy says this collection was created “to be a fun, fresh, floral, springtime” collection, designed to blow away the cobwebs and lift the spirits with joy. And we hope they do just that.

There are four A5 square Groovi Plates in the collection – three main designs surrounded by beautiful borders, plus a fourth border Plate, filled with straight patterns that can be combined and connected in order to customise your work. There is a lot of creative potential designed into each Plate and so many creative possibilities available.

We hope they will bring your as much joy using them as they brought Lucy in designing them.

Here are some examples from the design team to inspire you;

Jane Telford

Be sure to tune in for a look at these marvelous Folkart plates! Wednesday at 6pm & 9pm, and Thursday at 9am, 1pm & 5pm.

Clarity Matters. It really does.

Stuart

    Wow – these look wonderful! I’ve always been a fan of folkart – mostly because you can have great fun with bold colours but, as the examples from our super talented design team show, softer colours and even black and white can also be beautifully effective too.
    Can’t wait to get mine so ……………… Well done Lucy – looking forward to your future designs!
