The Saturday Share: Your Work, Our Weekly Wow

Hello friends! Grace here.

I’m popping in with something a little different this week — a Saturday Share dedicated entirely to the SHAC. As I was scrolling through our community pages, Clarity Worldwide & Groovi Worldwide, I kept stopping at these beautiful Christmas trees… and every single one traced back to Barbara’s recent SHAC episodes. They were so impressive — so varied, so characterful, so skilfully done — that I couldn’t resist making a whole gallery just for them.
(Don’t worry, all of the other epic non-SHAC cards shared this week will be taken into consideration for next Saturday’s blog too).

It really does show what a special space the SHAC is. Barbara (me Mam!) has this wonderful way of teaching — calm, clear, encouraging — that somehow gives you the confidence to try things you didn’t think you could. And the proof is right here in these drawings: thoughtful lines, clever shading, personal twists, and that unmistakable sense of “I made this myself!”

So when you’ve got a quiet moment, have a little wander through this week’s collection. Whether you follow the SHAC every week or haven’t dipped in for a while, I think you’ll enjoy seeing what can grow from a good lesson and a bit of time. Who knows — it might even nudge you to join in.

Cor!! They’re just FABULOUS, aren’t they?
Seeing all these different trees side-by-side really highlights how much can blossom from a single SHAC session — one calm hour, a few simple tools, and Barb’s steady guidance.

And if you haven’t joined her for a while (or you’ve never dipped your toe in!), this is actually the perfect moment. The two SHAC episodes I’ve embedded below are wonderfully gentle — proper “take a breath” sessions — and ideal for this slightly frantic run-up to Christmas. Make a cuppa, follow along at your own pace, unwind a little… and before you know it, you’ll have a beautiful hand-drawn design you can turn into a Christmas card. Peaceful and productive — a winning combination this time of year.

So if you’re feeling that pull to make something with your hands — or just need a quiet, friendly hour to reset — press play on Episode 1 below and let Barb guide you.

Part 2

Before we wrap up, just a quick note: we’ll be on Clarity TV this Sunday, 7th December, from 3pm–5pm. If you’d like a bit of company while you craft — or simply enjoy watching a good demo or four — do join us. It’s a nice way to round off the weekend and spend your Sunday afternoon 🙂

Hi Grace, I am up very early this morning as I am off to Hazel’s last workshop for 2025. I think there will be 18 of us today so a lot of Grooving will be done along with cake & chat.
The triangle trees were great to do along with the tree stencil project that we did making a small tree out of the large stencil. It was great to see so many variations on the FB pages including the one Groovi one.
Another busy week at Clarity Towers ahead & it looks like being the ideal weather for staying indoors & watching Clarity TV &/or crafting. Take care everyone x

Don’t these look lovely all together! I had an offer for some free Christmas cards with a photo on. I think they were expecting family photos but I put my one of the trees in. Looking forward to their arriving in the post!
Have a lovely weekend everyone. X

Loved crafting along with Barbara on Monday. Not quite finished mine yet as other things rudely interrupted my crafting but hope I can finish my trees over the weekend. All the ones on show are beautiful and with your mum’s tuition so achievable. Have a lovely weekend.❤

Hi Grace. Wow……don’t all these different takes on the same theme all look amazing shown together. I really loved doing this in the Shac so calming & relaxing. Guess what my cards are going to be consisting of next year. I’ve been in the Shac from day one and have learnt so much and drawn things I never thought I’d be able to in a million years. I can’t thank you Mum enough xxx

All fabulous! I’ve already watched both SHAC episodes whilst doing other things so I haven’t had time to attempt these myself yet. I will certainly give it a go when I can. And I agree, your Mum’s teaching skills are brilliant and she’s great at building confidence too.

What a great forest of Christmas trees!
Yes, the Shac still works. I’ve watched every episode. Don’t always join in with the ‘topic’ now, but I do craft along. X

I am not sure what happened there, oh well lets try again.

    Hi Grace,

A wonderful selection of triangle trees, it’s lovely seeing all the different takes on the design. I will have to try this when I get time to do so.

I always love the Saturday Share, it’s very inspiring and joyful. I hope this encourages all of us to try using the things that we buy from Clarity. Special thanks goes to the Clarity Elves for Picking and Packing. 👍🏻

Love everyone’s trees. Once again Barb comes up trumps. She’s saved me many days of stressing. As I’m hosting my daughter and daughter in law to a craft day on 21st December. ( they don’t craft but do have arty bones 😀) I’ve been in a crafty block. I had 2 projects but nothing fab until Monday at SHAC Barb did the trees and sat back and went OMG Barb you’ve done it again . That’s because 6 months ago on our first family craft day , for part of the day I sat my girls in front of a SHAC video . The one of Barb drawing the triangle people. The girls didn’t even want to fast forward through one of Barbs ‘stories’ they wanted to hear it all. ❤️ we had a fab day. So here we go again . Last time I purchased them a brush pen each and the clarity heart shapes. This week I purchased some oxides so they have the exact stiff Barb uses. I feel it a way of trying to pay back xxx wonderful Clarity et al.
My daughter and husband no the name Barbara Gray from years ago if I said I’m watching Barbara , they would say ‘oh the wheelie lady ‘ ( brayering techniques) ❤️
