Saturday Share Time!

Hello hello! Grace here.

I hope this finds you well, safe, and ready to see some BEAUTIFUL artwork.

As many of you know, Mum is still in hospital but making big strides now toward getting out and being well again. Please keep the positive energy flowing our way 🙂

This week, I booked 3 days’ holiday from Clarity Towers and went to Manhattan to record a new audiobook. It’s an amazing historical fiction about Mary Shelley (the author of Frankenstein) and her mother Mary Wollstonecraft (the author of The Vindication Of The Rights Of Woman) – I read the chapters about Mary Shelley. I look forward to hearing how it turns out! And giving Mum a new audiobook to enjoy!

Since I was dashing from Mum’s side in England, to a full-on gig stateside, the kind Josie Davidson (Clarity Design Team member and friend) offered to make a Saturday Share selection again for me. Absolute angel!

And she has picked EPIC cards. Please slow down for a little while, grab a nice cup of tea, and settle down with me to enjoy these…

Cor!! What an epic gallery of artwork. Such stunning cards, and all so unique. I’m scrolling back up to find 2 things I love about each card. It helps me focus properly, rather than just scroll through and miss the actual brilliance of each piece of art.

Thank you, Josie, for picking your favourites of the week. And thank YOU, at home, for continuing to share your incredible artwork on our Facebook communities; Clarity Worldwide & Groovi Worldwide.

Right, I’m off! Thank you for joining us for the Saturday Share.

Travel gently, friends.

Lotsa love, Grace & Josie xoxo

Brilliant choices again, Josie. Lovely artwork everyone.

Grace I’m so glad Mum is making steps in the right direction. Sending her love and healing wishes. Her hospital stay brought back floods of memories of Mum in hospital during covid having her lung drained.

Your Mum will be chuffed to have another audio book by her fabulous offspring, I can see her face pondering the anticipation.

Sending lots of love, as I journey 8:30hrs to be with my Mum in Kent, its her 78th birthday on valentines day and if she’s feeling up to it, I will be treating her and Dad to lunch.

Leaving at 2am tomorrow to get there to surprise her and do the Sunday lunch. Her chemo maintenance medication has effected her liver and kidney function, as its changed her taste buds and she’s not drinking enough water to flush the meds through. She’s also Anemic so feeling cold and drained. Hopefully a week of an extra pair of hands to take care of the load will help her feel a bit more herself. She’s a fighter.
Sending love to all especially Barb and Family.
      T.xx

Hi Grace, glad you made it back to NY to record the new audio book. I am sure your mom is looking forward to hearing that when it is released. I bet it helped to know that your mom was slowly responding to the medication. Just need to keep her going slowly although I don’t envy her the long nights in a single room although she seems to have befriended some nice nurses.
Thank you Josie for choosing my card which in fact was made from the waste from the picture I made my husband for our Golden wedding last weekend. I love the ”trap the scrap” technique – although some die cuts are easier than others. There is another great selection this week, even ones I hadn’t seen before so its good that they got shared again on here.
I need to go & finish off my granddaughters birthday card as we are now seeing her tomorrow & last weeks Groovi Sunday project.
Looking forward to seeing everyone’s artwork during the week as there have been some fantastic pieces being shown over the last couple of weeks – trouble is there are so many ideas & not enough hours in the day !! Which I suppose is better than the other way round xx

Hi Grace and Josie, thank you for including me in your Saturday choice. I truly am chuffed to pieces.I think it’s quite an honour as there is some truly amazing artwork on here.
It’s so good to hear that Barbara is improving and may be able to return home on Tuesday.

Great work ! Lots of new people posting as well which is great. I hardly did anything in Jan, and had to do two cards for recently, one being tomorrow and felt I’d lost it a bit. I did a die cut one and have just finished a Groovi for tomorrow. Now I need to get one done for Thursday, need to do an original this time to see if I can get myself back on track. This is someone who was going to do at least one a week for Christmas – failed ! Never mind. Have a good weekend Grace and Josie, will look out for your new book. X

I’m sure Grace, that your Mum’s healing is accelerated by all the loving vibes sent her way through the FB pages of Groovi and Clarity Worldwide. The artwork posted during the week has been amazing and such great inspiration for us all. It’s such a relief to see Barbara making progress through her blogs.

So pleased to hear that your mum has turned a corner and that you arrived safely back in New York. I think there was a collective sigh of relief around the Clarity world yesterday when we saw that your mum had asked for some drawing supplies. She MUST be feeling better if she wants to draw and doodle!!
A beautiful selection of artwork again this week too. How on earth you choose from so many wonderful pieces is beyond me. It never ceases to amaze me the amount of talent and skill there is out there. It was a very unexpected surprise to see my poppet card included as well. Thank you so much Josie, it’s boosted my confidence no end.
Anyway, I’ll stop waffling and wish everyone a great weekend.
    Much love to all xx

Thankyou Josie once again for choosing the Saturday Share and giving Grace a little space. It must be so difficult to choose a few from so many wonderful and varied posts. I must say I was astonished to see one of mine included in your choice-thankyou. X

      Great choice of cards Josie.

Following you Mum’s suggestion I have started listening to audio books. I’m a great radio listener so this medium is just right or me. I currently only borrow from the library’s limited selection but intend to extend my book choice soon. I will look out for your recording as I enjoy historical fiction. No doubt your proud Mum will give us the low down.

Thank you Grace and Josie for yet another great variety of cards. I am so honoured that you picked one of mine. I have only ever made groovi cards, but having been inspired by all the brilliant cards. I think I might try diversifying a bit . Lovely to hear that your mum is recovering x
