Saturday Share next weekend!

Hello hello! Grace here.

I hope this finds you happy, safe, and enjoying your Saturday.

The last day of the year! We made it friends, 2023 here we come! Not everyone can say that, so let’s take a moment to think about those we lost, and also feel gratitude that we are still here to even think of them.

It’s hard to remember, when the world is so crazy, but every day we wake up is a day to be grateful for. And every year we start anew is an even bigger deal. So congratulate yourself for getting through yet another one!! This hasn’t been an easy one either, but you did it anyway. Here’s to 2023!

For the last time this year, I happily settled down to gather your gorgeous artwork for the Saturday Share Blog. And here are my absolute faves of the week (well, actually the last two weeks because there wasn’t a Saturday Share Blog last week! Sorry about that, I was in full family mode). But grab a cuppa and enjoy these with me. They’re really so special. As I said last time, I love picking two things I like about each card. It really helps me slow down and appreciate what I’m looking at… And there is so much to appreciate! Have a look…

Wow! So many beautiful cards. What a stunning gallery of artwork to close out 2022. I think they sum up the level of talent and creativity within our community perfectly.

Thank you for sharing your artwork throughout the last year. It’s personally been really great collecting your artwork year-round into these small weekly galleries. I get to see how many crafters have progressed massively, picked up new crafts or techniques or started a new hobby with us and blown people away! Everyone just gets better and better and better. It makes sense really. And to think, all of those hours spent mindfully creating… It’s something to be proud of.

I hope you enjoy your New Year’s Eve, whatever your plans may look like. Here in NYC, we tend to avoid the big crowds at all cost. People travel from all over the world to gather at Times Square to watch that ball drop…

Me? Absolutely not. You couldn’t pay me to go stand in that craziness. Well, depends how much actually! 😉
Most New Yorkers avoid Times Square all the time, throughout the year, but NYE there is a definite no. Madness! Not to mention insanely expensive if you want to go anywhere in the city tonight. We’ll be celebrating with friends & family inside the apartment; warm, safe & peaceful. Starting the New Year how I’d like it to continue.

What about you? Will you stay up until midnight?

Here at Clarity, we wish you a Happy, Healthy & Peaceful 2023. Thank you for helping us through 2022, we so appreciate your friendship and custom.
We look forward to spending yet another creative & mindful year with you all!

Travel gently, friends. See you in 2023.

Lotsa love, Grace xo

Hi Grace. I’m thrilled to have two of my cards featured this week. The townscape took me right back to when we were in the Shac every day, special times for a lot of us. Life has taken over in the last few months and I haven’t been in the Shac so I’ve taken some time since Christmas to start to catch up with the last few projects. I’d forgotten how much you slow down and how time flies! I wish you and everyone in the Clarity family all the best for 2023 xx

Thank you Grace for bringing us another great collection of cards this week & in fact for all the year. I love sitting down to eat my breakfast on a Saturday morning to read your blog & admire all the different ways everyone has used the Clarity products.
Another year has flown by & I agree we have a lot to be thankful for. As to celebrating New Year we will be at home watching the TV as usual whereas my 94 year old mom is off to her first New Years Eve party for years – if ever. Having moved into sheltered accommodation earlier this year she has joined in all the social events & tonight’s monthly Gala Bingo has turned into an American Supper New Years Eve Party. She will phone when she gets back to her flat – a bit of role reversal here I think !!
Happy New Year to everyone & I am looking forward to another year of crafting in 2023 xx

Happy New Year to everyone at Clarity. We are spending it with friends at their house. I am mire Christmas than New Year but will be nice to celebrate this year as when you worked in education September feels more like a new year. I want to improve my parching next year with the grids and colouring so looking forward to doing that. I hope 2033 brings health and family happiness and friends get togetherness and making dreams come true. Best wishes Lesley xx

Happy New Year Grace! Thank you for including my card – and one from my sister as well, so there’s a real family thing going on! Hope you had a wonderful family Christmas and a good New Year celebration. Mine was quiet, keeping the cats calm with all the fireworks going off (!!) but we had a great family cinema trip yesterday to see the new Avatar movie.

Happy new year Grace…I seem to have been missing this blog. I’m no good at the techy stuff, it’s all by trial and error and the days when grandchildren were popping in and out have become fewer as they make their way in the world! Rightly so of course.
I was interested to see that Times Square was not for you, I can’t imagine but I know London would not have been our place to be on NYE. We always had a big family party here. …and we are a big family! Good thing was they all wanted to be here.
I hope 2023 is a good one for you and send you love and very best wishes. Pat
