Saturday Share time!

Hello hello! Grace here.

I hope this finds you well, cheerful, and in the festive spirit. After all, there’s officially only ONE Saturday left until Christmas. Next Saturday is Christmas Eve. How on earth did that happen?

Our flight to the UK is tomorrow evening, with a quick stop off in London to see Hamilton! My Mark hasn’t seen it before (nor has he spent a lot of time in London) so we’re off on a jolly to the city before landing at home base.

Very excited for a trip home to family, as always. We have some cute plans in place, but generally, we’re opting for a chill Christmas this year. Let’s not make life more stressful than it already is, eh? That’s the Gray motto this year anyway. Christmas is supposed to be enjoyable! So, let’s make it that way. What do you have planned?

I settled down on Friday afternoon to the rather daunting task of choosing just a small selection of artwork to share. You do not make it easy for me! There’s so much amazing artwork to choose from on Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide. But I managed; these cards jumped right off the computer screen at me, and I couldn’t resist. They are worthy of a showcase!

Grab a cup of tea and take your time looking through these beauties…

Eva Henninger
Annette Mercer
Val Sowerby
Robin Riley
Pam Haig
Beverley West
Heather Knight
Jen Pickard
Sue Carpenter
Andrea Williams
Karen Hanson
Karen Gilgan
Kathy Prout
Liz Johnson
Sally Poole
Anne Breach

GORGEOUS! There’s so much to appreciate about each and every one of these cards. Here’s a fun challenge! Scroll back up to the top, and as you look through the gallery, think of TWO things you like about each card; details, creative choices, colours, techniques, anything. You don’t have to share them, just think about it. I do this when looking for the artwork and I’ve noticed that it really slows me down and helps me notice the little (but amazing) things, versus being on auto-pilot and not really SEEING what I’m looking at.
Now… to bring that same technique into daily life. Hmmm! Food for thought.

Did you catch Mum’s Craft Along last night? It was brilliant! If you missed it, or fancy a catch-up, you can find it on Facebook and Youtube. Or linked below…

Right! I’m off. I’ve got to go get my life in order before bopping out of the country. Much to do πŸ™‚

Join me tomorrow for a fun step-by-step project from a talented member of our Clarity design team.

Travel gently, friends.

Lotsa love, Grace xo

Wow. Thank you for including my card that was a lovely surprise. Every week I’m blown away by the diversity of the cards you choose for inspiration if nothing else. Sometimes they are simple but it’s the colours that sing to me and others I just simply have to admire the amount of work and time that has gone into it. Hope you and Mark have a safe journey home and that he enjoys London. Xxx

Hi Grace, thank you for choosing my stars to a sharing Saturday & thanks to Maggie Byford for her inspiration in the first place. I really enjoyed making them for my friends in our Bromsgrove Parchers group instead of cards. There are some great pieces again this week& scrolling through several times you do notice different things each time.
Hope you have a good flight over to the UK & Mark enjoys his visit to see Hamilton & London. Have a fabulous time with the family over Christmas.
Now to catch up with last nights Craft-a-long. We were out yesterday & got back later than I had expected so started to watch on catch up but fell asleep & woke to find the 2 little dogs finished so had missed the whole process !!! I will gather my bits together & craft along this time so hopefully will stay awake.
Wonder what tomorrows project will be? will check in tomorrow to find out x

    Good afternoon!!!
I reallylike your tips for appreciation of cards. For me it is often the techniques involved and various ways of composition. But with others it is just that they sign to me.
Thank you for picking my cards. It really does give a boost to creativity. I must also as mentioned in the post thank Maria Moorhouse for her teaching and inspiration!!!
As someone who is travelling back to her roots over Christmas, I.e. Germany I wish you all a very joyful and peaceful Christmas and a most Happy and healthy New Year. Looking forward to many more Saturday shares too.

Thank you, Grace, for including my card, much appreciated. There is such a wealth of talent in the Clarity Community. Also I value the tip re slowing down and taking time to appreciate the finer details . I am so guilty of being caught up in the planning of meals and organisation of activitiesfor Christmas- family arriving on Tuesday 20th and another bunch on the 27th.
Have a wonderful family time ! Very best wishes to all . Jen xx
