Our lovely Saturday Share!

Hello hello! Grace here.

I hope this finds you well?

You’ve caught me on a great day! Since my blog was so short last weekend, I thought I’d share a bit today. I hope that’s okay! πŸ™‚

We’re slowly beginning to settle and find our bearings in our new apartment. The sun is shining in Brooklyn and the moving anxiety is beginning to lift from our shoulders! I just took a photo from my office window for you…

What a fantastic view, eh?! I am very very grateful to be able to wake up to this every day. And each day we’re here, I’m getting more grateful. The imposter syndrome is starting to wear off.

It’s been a stressful few weeks. I think it’s good to acknowledge when you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed with it all… that way, when it does start to lift, you can really appreciate that!

Most importantly and excitedly, we have started discussing and outlining flight dates for a visit to see Mum in July. Now that Mark and I are fully vaccinated, we can start planning for it! And if you know us at all, you will know the happy vibes that creates in both Mum and myself. Heart full!

It’s also mine and Mark’s 3 year anniversary today, so we are venturing out to enjoy each other’s company in the world for the day! Nothing crazy. Just popping into Manhattan to go to the restaurant we went to on our second date! We didn’t go for dinner on the first date. In true millennial style, we just went for drinks… Y’know, just incase you don’t like each other, you can finish your drink and BOUNCE. But we ended up spending about 5 hours in the bar that first night. And then went for dinner the very next evening πŸ™‚ When you know, you know! A couple of short months later, he changed some plans around and flew with me to England to meet the family… AT MUM AND DAVE’S WEDDING. Blimey! That’s brave! When you know, you know I guess!

3 years and a global pandemic later, we’re still going strong! I’m sure lots of you have many many more years under your relationship belts, but hey! Every little counts πŸ˜‰

He often reads my blogs, so HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MARK!

His first time in England!

On his very first trip to the UK, he was greeted by a nutty family at a Safari park wedding! And we had the most perfect weather that I’ve EVER experienced in England myself. He still thinks that us Brits lie about the rainy weather to stop everyone from moving there! hahah. Oh good memories!

Take me back to this day!

I can’t wait to all get back together again. But looking through these photos, to share them with you, brought back some good feelings. Go look through some of your photos! Go on. Pick a day and relive it πŸ™‚

Anyway, less of my sharing and more of YOURS! Have a look at these absolutely glorious cards I found on Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide!

The time that you put into these cards!! If you want to see even more inspiration, head over to our Facebook groups. They’re overflowing with talent.

Did you catch Mum’s Moment of Clarity show on Thursday evening? It was fantastic! You can find it here. I mean, LOOK at these butterflies. They’re special!

You can find them to buy here! You know you want to…

Anyway, that’s it from me! Thanks for checking in. I hope you’re feeling as upbeat and positive as I am today. It’s not an every day thing is it? So we must grab it with both hands when it happens!

Travel gently…

Lotsa love, Grace xo

Good morning Grace, its sunny here today as well but it is still cloudy at the moment. I really enjoyed the Moment of Clarity yesterday & we are having another one o 12 May as we ran out of time – surprise surprise. So many different options with the butterflies.
Glad you are settling into your new home & also feel able to plan a trip home. We have a few short trips planned, one of which is to take my Mom to see her 4th Gt Granddaughter who was born last June but lives in Wales so restrictions have been different. I think there will be a lot of family celebrations this summer.
Another great selection of cards this week, thanks for sharing them on here for us to see.

What a lovely post, with such positive news. Your view is amazing, I can feel the excitement in your writing about the possibility of a visit in July and your anniversary too! Such a lovely weekend for you both.
It is our golden wedding anniversary next Saturday, so a few more years under our belts, but 1971 doesn’t feel like 50 years ago! Wishing you and Mark lots of happiness.
    With love. Annette X

Happy Anniversary to you both. It’s a beautiful day in Argyll as well. Just gorgeous. I have a friend visiting so we sat in the garden in the afternoon and listened to the water flow from the top pond to the bottom pond. So peaceful. Glad you are settling into your new home. I wish you both every happiness. Hx
