What’s coming up?

Hello everyone, how are you all doing?

I didn’t get my usual blog out yesterday because I had a few things to work on and present to the team that had to take priority. But I’m here now and have quite a lot to mention and keep you informed about.

I learned a lot about the importance of knowing what’s coming up, this week, and so did the deer who wrote my car off yesterday morning, so I’m going to make sure you guys know exactly what awaits you as a Clarity customer because you really don’t want to miss out on anything this week!

The first thing to mention, then, is A Moment of Clarity happening tonight! It’s another evening showing, beginning at 7pm. Barb will be showcasing here House That Barb Built stamp and Groovi Plate. Barb’s got some pretty nifty rennovation, I mean crafting, skills up her sleeve, so we do hope you’ll join in to learn a thing or two about setting up the perfect home!

The next thing to know about is The Pergamano Show on Thursday. Paul Church will be hosting shows at 11am and 3pm. We’ve got brand new product launches in the form of Josie Davidson designed Embossing Sampler Plates, which you can read more about right here. But what I will say now is that this is a great show for those who want to really practice and hone your skills. The Sampler Plates have been designed to help you develop your techniques, focusing on pattern building and composition.

As you can see, these patterns look amazing. The design below also displays how well patterns can be brought together to add so much dynamisn and interest to your parching designs. It’s a show that really is going to be worth the watch and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it very much!

So that’s our TV and A Moment of Clarity outings. Very exciting to look forward to them. It’s also worth mentioning what’s not happening this week. We were due to have some TV shows on Saturday, too. But, out of respect the funeral of H.R.H Prince Philip on that day, we have requested to postpone those scheduled hours in order to show respect to Prince Philip. This is to allow anyone who wishes, to follow what will no doubt be a celebration of his great life without missing any Clarity content.

We’ve also got Groovi SHAC #51 coming up. Now, I’ll of course share that with you properly on Friday. But I wanted to bring it up now because it’s the penultimate Groovi SHAC project by the amazing Hazel Edwards. That’s right, we’re going to run this series up to 52 weeks then we’ll have something else in store for you. But these are instant Clarity classics, that’s for sure, so you will want to download 51 and 52 as they come out and keep hold of those downloads because I know you’ve been enjoying them so very much and I would not want for you miss out on getting these last two. They will ALL be avialable on the website for at least a little while, which you can view here, but I can’t say how long it will last. So get them while you can and cherish them!

Well, that’ll do from me I think. Always great to blog for you all. And by the way, I do read the comments and love to hear from you! So do write me a little message if you’ve got the time!

Bye for now!

I hope you are okay and weren’t hurt during your interaction with the deer? They can fairly cause a lot of damage to a car. Love the new groovi plates. Lynn

I’m so sorry to hear about your car. Deer collisions are devastating for all parties. I hope you are recovering from the shock and that you weren’t further injured. How was the deer? I hope you got help quickly. Fingers crossed the insurance company can provide a courtesy car. It’s good to get straight back to it. You can fit a deer deterrent to the radiator grille of the next car, if it helps you feel more confident – it makes a noise they hear but others don’t but reports vary on effectiveness – four stars on a certain site beginning with A but I know people who like them more than that.

Thanks for the heads up on Clarity broadcasts. I’m glad Clarity have asked to postpone Saturday’s programmes but it depends on the contract. People will understand and watch on Rewind if Clarity have to fulfil it. We can all only try to do the right thing and I guess The Craft Store will have an obligation somewhere to be broadcasting.

Hazel has done a magnificent job to provide 52 projects to support everyone. Are you collecting for flowers or a present for her? We need to mark her generosity before moving on to the next event.

Hope you are OK, those deer can be so fast and seem to come out of nowhere. Our only interaction with animals was in Wales. Sheep were grazing near the verge by the roadside so we slowed down so as to not startle them. One looked up and casually walked onto the road and sat down blocking further progress. It turned it’s head, looked at us haughtily, tossed it’s head and after about 5 minutes got up and walked away. We had a good laugh but it was fortunate there was no other traffic.
Have all Hazel’s projects in a folder and have finished about half of them. Looking forward to what will come next – a nice surprise I am sure.
    Take care, stay safe.

Hi Stuart, How awful for you and your car, and also the deer, I hope you are not too shaken up, it must have been a traumatic experience.
Thank you for giving us the Clarity itinerary, really useful.
    Love from Patricia xx

So sorry to hear about your encounter with a deer. I live in the middle of ancient woodland and have seen accidents when cars have hit deer that spring out. The cars always look very badly dented and usually the poor deer is killed, if not outright, then the RSPCA come out and humanely put it down. I hope you are OK and your car can be fixed? I won’t be watching the shows as I don’t do parchment work now, though I’m sure they’ll be very popular. I’ll be catching up with A Moment of Clarity at the weekend -can’t see to craft in the evening and am just too tired. Also want to watch Repair Shop!!

So sorry to hear about the deer. That can be really nasty. Glad you were ok. Metal can be replaced. We have a lot of deer on our roads, too. They just appear out of nowhere. I’m looking forward to hearing what is replacing Hazel’s projects. Sounds intriguing. Stay safe and take care.

Just catching up with yesterdays blog, thanks for the heads up on what was happening, I really enjoyed the moment of clarity last night & I put todays shows on to record before going over to our daughters to do some more work in her garden. I plan to watch them in a bit after watching the Sewing Bee from last night as long as I don’t fall asleep.
Hope you manage to get your car sorted asap, not something that has happened to us thankfully although many years ago a friend had a cow fall out of a field on to his car when he was going down a narrow lane.
Wonder what the replacement to Groovi SHAC will be – thanks to Hazel for the 52 projects that she will have done for us. I have them all in a folder, many of them completed.
