Sharing is having more…

Hello hello! Grace here.

I hope this finds you safe and content.

BRILLIANT news over here! My Mark and I have got appointments for vaccinations tomorrow (Sunday). Just as I’d started getting antsy about how long it would take, an opportunity presented itself via an angel of a friend, and we grabbed it with both hands. 2 seconds later all of the appointments were GONE. Mark is eligible because of his essential not-missed-a-day-in-the-office job, and I’m medically eligible. RESULT!

We’re driving an hour to go get it! I love a good road trip though, to be honest. A nice drive in the car, with good music and my man. What’s not to love about that?! Especially when we’re driving towards FREEDOM. It’s my birthday on Tuesday, and this is the best early birthday present I can think of! A step closer to being able to visit home. And then have Mum & Dave come to visit me in the new flat! Things are looking up for the Summer 😀

So I’m thrilled to be able to share that good news with you, my friends! Sharing truly is caring. Our good friend shared the website link with us, and here we are. Sharing truly is having more. And on that happy note, let’s share YOUR beautiful artwork!

Great news about you both getting your vaccines, definitely a step nearer getting together with family. Another great selection of artwork this week, thank you for choosing my Groovi Sunday project. I didn’t manage to finish the Groovi SHAC 48 due to me having a problem deciding on which plate to use for the corner dots. Need to do an oopsy butterfly to cover the slight mishap !!

Means a lot to see it there!
And it’s all due to the groovi system, inspiration and love on this site!
Good luck with your vaccines Grace x

Wow what fantastic news Grace, you and Mark must be thrilled. Your Mum will be ecstatic. What lovely bright cheery pieces of art shown, as we slowly creep into those longer brighter evenings, makes you feel a little more positive as good weather is on the Horizon. Thankyou for show casing my card this week. They are all beautiful. Love and crafty hugs

Great news for you and Mark, Grace. Glad you got the opportunity and were able to grab it with both hands. Lovely work by everyone and it was good to be able to get the undies out on show again! I’ll be able to do another set for someone later in the year as well. I need to get on with a birthday card again and Easter as well I enjoyed doing Tina Cox’s tag last week And that went to someone as a glad you’re getting better tag. I’ve also got two exchanges to get done by the end of the month so I don’t know why I’m sat here browsing! Lot of rugby watching today as well ! Have a good weekend and ‘enjoy’ your jabs xx

Pleased you are getting your jabs, one step nearer to freedom.
We have both had our first jabs and are waiting to be notified for the second. However, I don’t think we will be going far for quite a while yet. Age and illness are making us both very cautious. Came home from an early shop this morning to find used masks discarded on the pavement outside. UGH!!! Why do people do this? Littering makes me mad at the best of times but this is disgusting.
Great cards once again from talented people.
    Loved your Mum’s shows yesterday.
    Stay safe.

Beautiful art work. Wonderful news for you both on the vaccine. I’m sure your mother will be over the moon. I love a road trip with some meatloaf or ultavox nice and loud to drown out or terrible singing. Travel safe. Xx

    Hi Grace
I am so pleased for you and Mark. Be ready for the headache and tiredness but it doesn’t last long and it’s worth it to think we can get together with friends very soon.
Take care and enjoy your road trip.

Great news about the vaccs for you both. Well worth the drive. Happy birthday for Tuesday Grace, on the anniversary of the first lockdown! Hopefully the end of it all is getting nearer and we will all be able to visit our loved ones overseas. I can’t wait to see my daughter and three grandchildren in Vancouver, so I know how you, Mark and your mum and Dave feel. Have a great weekend and enjoy your birthday. XX

That’s fantastic news Grace and it sounds like you were really lucky to get the slots. i would have gone anywhere at anytime day or night to get mine. I know it’s not a miracle cure but it is protection which is better than nothing. I bet your Mum was over the moon with joy. Fantastic artwork once again, there really are some talented people out there aren’t there. Hope you have a lovely birthday as things are now really beginning to look brighter. xx

Congratulations on your vaccine appointment! I become eligible on Monday, but it may be weeks before I am able to get an one. I’m OK with that. I’m not high risk, and there are lots of folks who really are, but it would be wonderful to visit with family again. I hope your drive was lovely.
