Clarity on the Mind!

Hi there crafters, how are you all doing? What’s on your mind at the moment?

Me, I’ve got turf on my mind. Got a delivery of sods (or is it just sod – you know, like sheep is plural of sheep?) coming this afternoon which I’m going to need to lay early on Saturday morning. I’m looking forward to it, but need to do a little research on how to not screw it up basically… I mentioned in the blog from a couple of weeks ago about the gravel which you can see below. Nicely pleased with that. What you can’t see is that in that picture there is a lot of grass seed. Long story short, the seed just doesn’t seem to be working. Plus the fact that we were getting rather bored of looking at dirt meant that I ordered some turf. It’s easy to become impatient with home improvement, right? Let’s see how that goes hey!

Whatever is on your mind, though, whether it be turf, when your next cup of tea is or what craft project to start next, it’s my job to put clarity on your mind, which is handy because there is a lot to talk about.

First things first, though… And we’ll give a little shout out to our Groovi SHAC project practitioners.

Thanks to everyone who had a little go and shared on Groovi Worldwide.

As you know, it’s A Moment of Clarity this afternoon at 3pm. We do hope you can join in because Barb has got an amazing session lined up using an incredible new range of masks. And boy-oh-boy they make a really special kind of artwork which you’re going to love learning about!

And we have some exciting news, hot off the press today. Barb is announcing another hour of A Moment of Clarity on Wednesday 24th at 7pm. The Wednesday airing will also feature the wonderful Masks and a great way to give exposure to these new products for folks who can’t make the 3pm Friday show.

And the last thing to say today is that we’ve put a little sale on our Paper Flowers. If you’ve not come across these, before, they are a great way to embellish your craft projects and make the most of your artworks.

The individual pack prices are now just £5.49 – half price. And the collection price – three packs together are better than half price at just £13.99 for all three. We do love to give you a good deal.

Well, that’s all from me now. I’m off to continue working on some top-secret that you’ll be very excited to know about in due course *cough* egg hunt *cough*…

Well, I hope I’ve satisfactorily distracted you and filled your mind with all that’s going on here at Clarity. I hope you enjoy Barb later on FB and I’ll speak to you again next week.

Bye for now

I’d rather be inside crafting than outside gardening but I suppose we should be thankful we have our own outside garden space. Thanks for displaying my card

I hope the turf goes well and we don’t have a bad frost before it ‘takes’. It’s wee bit early for grass seed isn’t it? My pack says from April. I sowed some a couple of weeks ago but the birds ate it and then I read the pack, so I’ll put more down in a couple more weeks. It might be the type -it’s for patching in more shady places – that determines when to sow. Anyway, good luck with the sod!! Gravel looks good. I am no longer a ‘parcher’ but I appreciate the work in the lovely cards. Thanks for showing them.

Hi Stuart, Well, you certainly have your weekend sorted hahaha, good luck with laying the turf, the grass seed won’t have done much yet anyway, the weather has been too cold for it to germinate yet.
    Lovely samples shown, as always.
    Love from Patricia xx

Sod is great. Instant lawn. You may need to roll it after it’s been put down, but your yard looks pretty level, so it might not be necessary. After that daily watering for a couple of weeks, and you should have a lovely lawn. As others have said there’s lots of great advice to be found in the internet. Enjoy!
