What’s The Point of a Sale Anyway?

Hi there, everyone! Stuart here with another dose of Clarity matters on Clarity Matters.

Now, you all know there’s a sale on. Who doesn’t Black Friday isn’t just one day anymore, is it? If you’ve shopped on Amazon in the past month, for instance, you’ll know it’s been going on for ages, so I don’t need to harp on about the sale. Click the banner below and you’ll be whisked away to where the offers are.

No, I want to talk about why we even have a sale in the first place. And I bet the answer isn’t quite what you’re thinking! Most companies have a sale so they can top up the bank balance and generate a bit of extra profit. And there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s how the world works and we’ll be glad for that benefit, too! BUT, here at Clarity, we really are concerned about craft for craft sake. We wouldn’t much enjoy it if we didn’t think customers were using the stuff they bought from us. We don’t want to sell you something just to have it go to waste.

We put so much effort into designing and producing beautiful craft supplies for your crafting pleasure, that we want you to make good use of them and experience the benefits of being creative. It’s truly what we’re all about! And so for us, the point of a sale is first and foremost, to make it easier (by which we mean cheaper) to get stuck into the crafting game and achieve your crafting ambitions!

And one of the primary ways we help you to do that is through our epic YouTube channel (or as I call it Stu-Tube 😉).

So without further ado, I’ve curated a little playlist of some of our most interesting video YouTube crafting tutorials. One based on each of our product strands!

STAMPS

These of some of our finest tutorials, and are great intro points into each discipline. There is a little bit of a Christmas theme and each tutorial here is filled with super creative and ultra-handy tips, tricks, and techniques for your route to crafting mastery!

STENCILS
GROOVI
FRESH CUT DIES
PERGAMANO

So, I hope you enjoy the videos. Please do leave a comment below to let me know what you think of them, and also to share your own crafting tips and tricks. We’d love to know any of your own, home-spun expertise. Sharing the wealth is what we love to do – for the love of crafting!

Don’t forget to head on over to Barb’s blog for the details on today’s Blog Blitz Day Three offers.

Well, that’s all from me, I think. I would just like to remind folk to please bear with us while we fulfill your Sale orders. Our helpful Clarity Elves are absolutely working as fast as they can, and even with COVID restrictions in place within the company, we will endeavour to have all your orders to you by Christmas. But if your orders take a little bit more time that usual, please don’t panic!

Bye for now.

Stuart

Thank you, Stuart. I am really looking forward to the demos when I get back from the dentist. You have cheered me up no end.

Feel free to leave my orders until last. January is fine – as long as someone helps me renew my clubs! I don’t know what all the fuss with the Pergamano sale was about as my very late order must have needed things made from what Barbara said on the blog and was still only about 28 days i.e. faster than normal for a lot of firms e.g. Amazon. I was shocked to read that your lovely phone staff got verbal abuse and hope it was dealt with as violence at work. We don’t need people in the community who assault our helpers.

I love a sale. I always have and I love Clarity products. I am very thankful for the Shac Shack. I don’t know what I would have done without it. Take care. Hugs xxx

Hi Stuart, lots to look at today. Thanks for the reminders of all the wonderful YouTube videos. What I love about the Clarity sales are they are genuine reductions & they don’t sell out of their own products. Items are not bought in especially for the sale like shops used to do back in the day of the New Year Sales when everyone queued for hours outside the shop waiting for the doors to open. At least these days we can sit in the warm & purchase. The thing is I really need to start using my stash but there are so many goodies to tempt us !! Off to check out the Blitz day 3 sale

Hi Stuart, I’m looking forward to watching these Youtube videos when I get a minute.
I love Sales where you can buy items that you have been ‘longing’ for, at a Sale price, rather than sales where shops try to get rid of tatty stuff. That’s why I love Clarity and Pergamano Sales.
    Take care.
    Love, Patricia xx
