It’s always nice to grab a bargain and feel like you got really good value. And, not only are they good for helping you with your own crafting projects, but you could also pop one in a stocking, wrap one up and send to a friend as a Christmas present, use for Secret Santa or something similar. It’s the start of the season of gifts and giving and Products of the Month are a great way to be part of that.

Well, there you go, November’s Products of the Month. And, just before I go, I’ll just remind you of the giveaway running on the blog. Last week I posted this blog about books and reading. You’ve still got a chance to enter if you like, to be in for a chance to win. I’ll be announcing the result on tomorrow’s blog.

Bye for now.

Stuart

    Hi Stuart
I have been struggling to decide on my favourite book. I love F Scott Fitzgerald for Great Gatsby, anything by Catherine Cookson but in the end I think I have to go for Wonder by R J Palacio. Such a powerful message and appropriate for readers of so many ages.
    Have a good day!

Hi Stuart, it wasn’t too bad earlier when the sun almost popped out of what had been a grey damp Monday morning but it didn’t last long & is now going quite chilly so need to go & find a jumper or cardigan for the rest of the day.
Have to admit I haven’t read any books lately, too busy keeping up with the SHAC Shack & the various online projects that have been set us. Should get back into it & would normally read fiction with a hint of history both local & family, nothing too heavy. so the range is vast going from the Clifton Chronicles by Jeffrey Archer to The Woolworth girls by Elaine Everest or the Annie Murray books based around Birmingham.

I’ve just finished a David Baldacci called True Blue, but I wouldn’t recommend it!! I usually enjoy his books, but this one had so many initials of various US agencies and was quite political. If I’d know they’d have all the initials I would have written down what they stood for as I came to them!! Back to a Tess Gerritsen this week and then a Kathy Reichs. Nice to see you are still around Stuart.

My favourite books are the forensic science type by Patricia Cornwell(got them all), horror by Stephen King (got all his!), Tess Gerritsen, any medical based tales and one of my favourites was about a woman who adopted a crow…It portrayed the intelligence of the Corvid species (unfortunate name in these times!) & H is for Hawk by Helen McDonald…..wonderful facts about hawks and peregrine falcons and the author’s Goshawk and how her training and keeping of it helped her overcome grief. Also like Lee Child, Karin Slaughter and for a good giggle…Nick Spalding…tales of a Junior Doctors experiences. As a child I read Peter Pan over and over again…now I enjoy sharing the Gruffalo, Zog, Room on the Broom and Stickman with my grandchildren!
