Stay in the SHAC with us…

Hi there! Grace here.

I hope you’ve gotten through another week! It sounds as though we’re all in for a second wave unfortunately. We kind of knew that was going to happen though, didn’t we? It’s happening here too, slowly… so it has never been more important to SHAC it up.
Stay Home And Craft… or Safe Happy And Creative!

As many of you know, my Mum has shifted gears and is now doing the SHAC SHAC every Monday, Wednesday and Friday! I think that’s a win win for everyone. It gives you time to catch up and create in between… and it gives her some wiggle room to either breathe or focus on other parts of the business that need her too.

That means we STILL have the SHAC SHAC! Aaaaaand we still have the Groovi SHAC, with our lovely Hazel Edwards making these wonderful download challenges for you every week. I’m quite astounded at both of their abilities to pump out fresh content so regularly!

Here is the new Groovi SHAC Download, #24!

Click Me!

I told you last week that I looked forward to seeing your #23 homework, as I particularly loved this download! Well? Let’s have a little looksie!

Here is Hazel’s lovely original!

And here is the gallery of your fantastic versions!

Ann Raymond
Elizabeth Sykes
Gaynor Murray
Julie Campbell
Katharine Peace
Lyn Buckell
Lynne Bishop
Sue Carpenter
Linda Stringer
Barbara Clare Brown
Rosalind McLellan
Sheila Stokes
Sue Holland

Wow! I love that they’re all within the realm of the original, but they’re all just so unique. I also love that when you don’t have what is ‘required’ you find something else that inspires.

I’m quite in love with this Autumn Wreath though… and it is OFFICIALLY AUTUMN isn’t it?! So if you’re after this plate, you can find it here! I bet it would look cool for other seasons too, depending on what colours you used!

Now that I look at the plate all by itself, those leaves are just begging to be coloured in and shaded! Right, I’m off to do some colouring.

Lotsa love, Grace xo

What a superb selection of cards and all so different. Stunning.
I have ordered so much from Clarity this week the bank is suffering from shock. Still, what price pleasure in these trying times, it means we have plenty to occupy us in the new lockdown and definitely will not be bored.
Your mum needed to step back a bit, she needs time to breathe and we needed time to catch up.
    Stay safe 🍒

Thank you for choosing my card Grace – I am honoured!
I think I have decided how to interpret this week’s download ……………….
I don’t know how I would have managed these last 6 months+ if I hadn’t had my parchment craft – helped in so many ways!!
Take care and stay safe xxxx

    Hello Grace
Thank you for picking my card, and also two more East Northants Groovi Group members. I am happy to report our meetings have started again at Colemans Craft Warehouse, albeit with reduced numbers due to social distancing but we have been offered an extra day a month to compensate.
I love all the Groovi Shac cards which appear on Facebook. As you say, they are all different but still have the link to Hazel’s original design.
Your mum is wise to reduce the Shac Shac to three mornings a week, I think. We don’t know how long this is going on for and she is such a busy lady.
    Love

Hiya Grace. The SHAC is such a fab event and when we were in full lockdown it was definitely needed every day but your mum is so busy that it makes sense for her to only do the 3 days. Even that is amazing and I know everyone is so grateful that your mum can continue t give us that much of her valuable time.
The cards you’ve showcased are fabulous. I’ve not been able to keep up with them but I know I can dip in to the projects if I did time.
Stay safe and happy. Love and hugs xxxx

Thank you for showing my card. I have caught up with card making after week away but still have to find time to catch up with shac shack. Have got ducks out but not started yet.
Hopefully will catch up this weekend.
Hope you are well and enjoy your weekend.

Hi Grace, a lovely bunch of cards again and having checked them all out again I can’t believe you picked mine, it is so far off the original again but I loved doing this one, the poppets just jump out to me. Unfortunately don’t have this weeks plate so may have to go rogue again! Sorry. Take care and enjoy your colouring xx
