Flip Heart Filigree

Good greetings, everyone.

Thanks for dropping by the blog this happy morning!

It’s Tuesday. Birthday has finished but the party isn’t quite over. It’s a bit like parties I used to go to where you didn’t go home at the end, you just found yourself waking up at 6:30am on a couch that is not your couch. And there is a lot of stuff on the floor that needs clearing up. But someone makes a big pot of coffee and everyone chips in with the tidying and you’re soon on your way to work at McDonald’s… A little groggy, but at 18 you can manage…

Ok, there’s a little glimpse into my past… Yes, I did work at McDonald’s for a little while. It paid for driving lessons and CD’s so definitely worth it.

Anyway, Clarity birthday is over and it’s the morning after. But it’s not clearing up we have to do, it’s picking and packing and shipping your orders that we’ve got to do now. And, even though it requires a few more hours here and there, maybe skipping a lunch break or two, it’s what we’re here for, right? The best bit of our job is knowing that our customers really love our products. Customer service is very satisfying and everyone is glad to put in the effort. So it’s worth a particular shout out to Anna, Sharon, Tom, Andy and Leanne getting those orders out, brother Steve and Jason and Laurent in production and Steven who has had to temporarily ditch his role in marketing to use his experience in helping out with despatch, too.

Whilst they all work like busy bees, I’ll stick to my task at hand and share with you today’s YouTube Tuesday video.

I know we launched a lot of stamps over the weekend, so I wanted to find a stamping technique to share with you. I know this tutorial uses an older stamp, but it was the technique I wanted to share – because you can use it with any stamp, including the new ones!

And our big thing at Clarity is not just selling you a load of stuff so it can take up space in your craft drawers – we want you to actually use them and ENJOY them! What’s the point in having stamps if you’re not going to stamp? Or stencils if you’re not going to stencil? Or Groovi if you’re not going to groove?

So, please enjoy 20 minutes of our mixed media master Sam Crowe, and here colourful stamping tutorial.

Craft along, copy exactly, or just use it as inspiration for whatever YOU want to do!

Simply click the banner above to be transported to the viewing location. And don’t forget, if you’re keen to complete the project exactly, there’s 20% off everything you need to do just that.

Bye for now 😎

Thanks to everyone at Clarity, Hochanda and all the couriers to come for a fabulous celebration. It really went with a swing but there must be weeks of preparation and follow up – and years of use in craft spaces!

Great video from Sam with some interesting stamps and techniques.

Clarity staff are brilliant, from Barbara to the guys and gals on the floor as it were!! Looking forward to my birdies flying to Kent sometime soon. I love the videos using older products. We keep buying new stuff and forget what we bought it for (which was the demo/card that gave the final push?) so I love to see much-loved older stash being used again.
