Groovi SHAC Friday!

Hello! Grace here. Happy Friday!

I hope this blog finds you all happy, safe & well. As always!

A lovely friend and customer, Ani Catt (I’m sure many of you know her!) recently sent me a handful of gorgeously handmade masks all the way from England. And I’ve been wearing them every day! And even gifted one to one of my best friends. She loves it too!

Thank you again, Ani! I get compliments on them often.

Wear a mask πŸ™‚

It’s definitely a nice treat to not have to wear the basic ones all the time. And it means even more because they were made by a friend.
They’re stylish aren’t they?

Speaking of stylish, here are some of your fantastic Groovi SHAC #15 cards from this past week…

Lynne Bishop
Barbara Clare Brown
Sue Holland
Elizabeth Sykes
Sheila Stokes
Julie Campbell
Sue Dezelsky
Cathryn Chaggar
Rosalind McLellan
Katherine Peace
Christine West
Ann Raymond

I LOVE that none of these are even remotely similar! Got some Christmas, got some animals, got some pretty, got some funky, got some clocks and cogs, got some more Christmas, got some EVERYTHING! Well done you!

You certainly are all ‘born to craft’. Love that theme too, Ann!

So onwards! It’s time for Groovi SHAC # 16 πŸ™‚

Click me!

I love this sentiment very much. But I’m intrigued to see what you all come with! πŸ™‚

See you tomorrow!

Lotsa love, Grace xoxo

Brilliant cards again Grace and thanks for picking mine. The mask becomes you and great that Ani managed to send you some to tide you over with. The homemade ones fit a little better than the medical type ones. Hope you are keeping safe and take care xx

Thanks for choosing my card again Grace. It is fantastic to see all the different interpretations of one design. So many talented people.
Your mask is brilliant, that is one of the many things on my β€˜to do’ list, but I’ve been too busy coloring parakeets this week!! Maybe next week….
Have a lovely weekend Grace, I’m now going to sit outside in the sunshine 😎 xx

    Hello Grace.
There is certainly a variety of designs. Just goes to show how versatile the Groovi system is. Once again members of the East Northants Groovi Group feature in the line-up. Thank you.

Friday again & another great selection of cards. Just goes to show how once you have a template it can be adapted for all occasions. Love your facemask – I found this design on the internet & have made a pile for us, family & friends so we have one to wear, one to wash & a spare or two.
Take care as things keep changing in these difficult times, some are moaning because the latest lockdown up north has been sprung on them but surely that is the whole idea of track & trace but perhaps i am wrong x

I had some masks from a very good friend as well. Her sister was making them in aid of the British Heart Foundation, so some money went to a very good cause as well. I need to make a few more though.
Thank-you for choosing my card, what a fantastic display there is.
    Stay safe Grace X ❀️

Glad you have a handy friend to protect you, Grace. And that you are promoting wearing a mask. The police went into a local sub post office earlier in the week and fined ten people for not having one. Β£100 fine would make it an expensive stamp! Masks are certainly cheaper and even places like Sainsburys and Lakeland have them now. It is surprising the people prepared to die and worse kill others sooner than wear one. I was talking to a nurse last night who says her team loved being clapped but now feel they are being spat on by people who won’t help themselves. She told me they have a joke that those people will certainly be wearing one when they are on a ventilator, so they might as well do it now.

Anyway, thanks for picking out more stunning cards – and thanks to all the people who shared them.
