Galleries, TV and a competition winner!

Good morning everyone, did you have a nice weekend?

Stuart here, with a lot to shout about in this sunny, Monday blog!

First things first, though – a BIG thank you to everyone who joined in with the day-trips last week. Steven and I loved doing it, and we’re thankful for all the very positive comments, you were all very kind.

Thanks also to everyone who sent in images for the Hawaii gallery below. Thanks to those who sent in artwork. Inspiring is an understatement. What a bright, colourful, fun set of doodles they are. Delightful. And what about those borders, hey – amazing!

Next thing to mention is the competition winner. On Friday last week, I asked you about the garland that is worn traditionally in Hawaii. It’s the lovely, floral wreath draped over the top left corner of your Hawaii doodles. And every single one of you knew it was called a Lei! So thanks to all who entered.

A special well done to Alison Ainger who guessed correctly and was drawn out of the hat!

If you email me you address to gallery@claritystamp.com, or PM the Clarity FB page, I’ll pop your prize in the post – a suitably Hawaiian themed Waimea Falls Designer Card.

Now, just in case it happened to pass you by, Barbara is BACK in the SHAC Shack. Every day at 10am, live from on the Facebook page, Barb will be keeping you company with video tutorials on colouring and doodling. A bit of yoga for the mind, as she calls it. And a great way to positively maintain wellbeing in the midst of continued uncertainty! Click the image below to go to the videos section of our Facebook page. It’s the best place to find the live video every day or to catch up on anything you’ve missed!

Glad to be back 🙂

Next thing to mention, then, is the amazing TV shows we’ve got this week. TV is always exciting at Clarity because we are always bringing out new designs. That’s the fun of it. And this week is no exception.

Starting on Wednesday we have the brand new 3-way Letterbox Alphabet Plate. It’s a grand A4 size plate that gives you a wonderful array of options for embossing letters. With an inside line, and outside line, or use both lines together, you’ve got so many possible combinations for your lettering. A fantastically useful Plate to have in your collection, this one. Including Uppercase, lowercase, numbers, characters, sentiments and boxes, there is so much you can be doing with this Plate.

Then on Saturday, we’ve got ‘owl’ you need for a great time. Because we’re running an owl theme all week in the Clarity SHAC Shack with Barb, we decided to dig out some of our incredible 3D parching Owl Family Groovi designs, as well as launch a few new ones designed by the owl-ways incredible Linda Williams. It’s going to be a real hoot, filled with incredible tutorials, creative inspiration, educational projects and a talon full of owl-based puns!

Nestled nice and snug between the first and last Saturday shows is a Barbara Gray special. Featuring brand new stamp sets based on more of her incredible SHAC Shack doodles, it’s going to be one exciting show.

And, because I’ve rambled on a bit, I’ll leave you with one last thing to mention – the New Designs Club members’ sale. 50% off over 600 items on the Clarity website. That’s one opportunity you do not want to miss out on… If you’ve not shopped, why not? If you need to join the club, click here. If you’ve already caved in and splurged, why not let me know in the comments what you’ve purchased? You can click the banner below to access the sale. Just be sure to be logged in to see the sale prices.

OK! That’s all from me. Hope you enjoyed the blog and enjoy your days.

Stay SAFE, HAPPY AND CREATIVE.

Clarity Matters.

Stuart

Congratulations, Alison! I really enjoyed the day trips, though Barbara far from took time off. I can hear it will be an expensive week but you can never have too many alphabets and I am looking forward to the doodle stamps. In the NDC sale, I topped up storage and mostly invested in Groovi plates since I am late to it all. I’m glad the owl plates will be on TV as I haven’t understood them yet, so I’m glad to have teaching to study before I decide. As always, people’s work is amazing. I’m so glad they share so generously.

Congratulations Allison!!! Have fun with your prize.
Have to buy some pergamano paper because there are nothing left.
Don’t know what I’m doing wrong so have to ask our sons to help me out with ordering.
Stay save and healthy everyone and hope the weather will be fine again soon!
