Clever Corners & Pick of the Week

Hi there, Steven here.

I hope today’s blog finds you safe and well.

Every weekday morning at 10 am, Barbara has been bringing you a live doodling session on Facebook. Whilst watching, some of you may have recognised some familiar names assisting Barbara with the comments.

During yesterday and today’s live videos, I have had the pleasure of assisting you all.

I have worked at Clarity for over ten years and still loving every minute of it. I began working as a Picker which I did for five years, and since have been managing our Amazon store and marketing department.

I was only eighteen years old when I joined. Back then, the products I was picking was Clever Corners plus Big ‘N’ Juicy ink pads. Does anyone remember those?

Moving forward ten years, this weekend, Barbara’s going back to pattern building, bringing back the old-time-favourite, Clever Corners.

How time flies…

If you like the sound of pattern building, join Barbara this Sunday at 2-4pm on Hochanda.

Another thing Barbara mentioned during one of the live sessions last week was storage folders. She took out her A4 Groovi folder and flicked through the previous doodles she’d done. It’s a great folder and a great way to store all your doodling, too. They might not make it onto your wall in a frame, but as Barbara demonstrated, it’s nice to keep a record of what you’ve done and our folders are a really neat way of doing that. Perfect for an A4 sheet.

So, this week only, look no further than our Pick of the Week: A4 Groovi Storage Folder. That’s 20% off for a limited time.

Thanks for reading and I hope you all enjoy your day.

Clarity Matter, It really does.

The corners are beautiful, especially set 4. Looking forward to Sunday.

I can remember those days, Steve. Bought the big and juicy pads on Barbara’s recommendation, love the corners and what can be achieved with them.

Thanks, Steven. I have the original corners. Much fun they were too. I went nuts storing and sorting just before I moved. It is a good feeling to know where things are and a great time to do it at the moment if you are not working. I applaud those flat out and am deeply grateful to them for all they are doing.

So good to have someone on line to help. Grace has been magic. Love the blogs and the daily doodling. Had a hitch today with a big medical emergency. Clarity worldwide followers were brilliant while I panicked. So pleased to know everyone

I also have a lot of the original corners -and also 4 big and juicy pads which are still just that -big and juicy. They make lovely backgrounds (I love the pale blue/pink one) and are big enough to load the brayer in one go!! Looking forward to w/end shows.

I can remember seeing Barbara wielding the brayer with the Big and Juicy inkpads at the NEC, I would stand there watching mesmerised by what she turned out. She was selling the DVD ‘s too, which over the years I have managed to buy. I can remember the first time I went to Alexander Palace we went downstairs to the demo hall and Barbara was demoing the Corner stamp with the little flourish. Wonderful, still have the demo sheet that came with it, still have to master it though, it isn’t easy when you get double vision, somehow I also lost my flourish. Yes the corner stamps are amazing, I have them in Groovi now.xx
