Clarity Against Cancer

Hello! Grace here.

I hope you all had a great weekend! Lots of Hochanda! If you missed any of my Mum and Paul’s shows, you can find them on Hochanda’s website here: https://www.hochanda.com/tv-schedule

I wanted to draw your attention to a cool little Clarity item I just found!

How lovely is this? I just saw this beauty in a recent Clarity Facebook post. And so I wonder how many of you have seen it! You can purchase it here… (and it’s on sale!)

Mine is on route to New York as I type πŸ™‚

In other news…

This weekend, on March 7th, myself and a lovely group of friends will be participating in ‘Cycle For Survival’. This is my second year, and I’m very much looking forward to it!

2019 Cycle for Survival

Why We Ride

To beat rare cancers.

Rare cancer patients make up about half of all people fighting cancer, but they often have limited or no treatment options because rare cancer research is drastically underfunded.

Cycle for Survival raised $42 million in 2019β€”more than $253 million in over a decade. Every single penny and cent raised is directly allocated to rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center within six months of the close of fundraising.

My good friend is a nurse at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and she rallies us to support.

It’s unbelievably impressive! And I’m chuffed to be able to contribute. We ALL know someone who has been directly affected by cancer, and together we can help. You don’t have to get on the bike, but you can help too!

If you would like to support me on behalf of Clarity, and be involved as well, you can donate to my personal fundraising page here:

Every little helps, every donation. No matter how small! No matter where you are in the world!

Shout out to Glynis Whitehead who already donated. I so appreciate you, Glynis!

Back to work πŸ™‚

Lotsa Love, Grace xoxo

I am unable to donate to your effort but really appreciate what you and your friends are doing for rare cancer research.
I had cancer in my sinus at the end of 1998, ignored by my doctor, and had to go private for diagnosis and treatment. Thanks to a wonderful oncology team I am still here.
Since then we have sold daffodils for Marie Curie and I regularly make batches of cards for sale in our local cancer charity shops and the East Anglian Cihildrens Hospice.
Having survived that traumatic time I am so grateful to all who work in this field, they do a terrific job and deserve all the support they can get.
Wishing you all the best in your venture. πŸ’

This is a great cause and I love how it’s being done. My sister in law has a rare aggressive cancer. There are no standard treatments, it’s all experimental at this point, but research like this gives us hope. I’ve sent in my donation.

Best of luck in meeting your goal.
