Start in Mexico, finish in England!

Ello ello! Grace here.

I hope you’re all having a good week! I told you that we were going to ‘Drink Around The World’. And boy did we! We started in Mexico…

Great hat! This was an indoor space, pretty magical!

The artwork in Mexico was incredible. If I thought we could get it home in one piece we would have bought some. THE DETAIL!!! My Mum would love it too. With her pottery obsession. There was a woman sat hand painting every little pattern, every little dot. The photo doesn’t even do it justice.

After a quick stop in Norway (very nice, clean, grass on the roof and all that, learned about vikings) we headed to China…

Notice my Norwegian drink…in China. I couldn’t quite keep up. Slowly does it!

After some of the best sweet & sour chicken I’ve ever had, we headed towards the country I was born in… Germany. It was lovely! I’ll have to show my Oma. Look at this gorgeous little village!

It reminded me of Legoland in England. I loved that place as a child. Must go back one day. Look at this little German square! Fabulous!

Someone didn’t take it slowly enough though…

Wahey.

Next stop! Japan!

Japan was probably one of my favorites. The architecture, the beautiful time of day. It was just breathtaking. Probably time to book that trip…

Then we stopped in Italy for some Limoncello!

Morocco was breathtaking too. I could have spent a small fortune on Moroccan slippers and handbags.

It was definitely night time at this stage, so we ventured on, through America and France…

I spy the eiffel towel.

And on to our final destination. ENGERRRLAND.

Clock the malt vinegar. I WAS A VERY HAPPY GIRL!

Yes, that’s a sausage roll and chips. And it was marvelous. And yes, those two little dodgy looking fellas hanging off our drinks? They call them drinking buddies. We called them Chad & Billy. And Chad & Billy took the park by storm. We almost lost Billy in a few countries though. Mental that one!

Then to top it ALL off, as we were walking towards the exit we got a Disney fireworks show as well!

Lovely, lovely. A real treat. Great experience with great company. Can’t really ask for more than that, eh?

Back to work! 🙂

Lotsa Love, Grace xoxo

Glad you enjoyed your trip around the world in a day. Disney fireworks are fantastic & well worth seeing. I seem to remember it raining when we were there but we stood it out determined not to miss them & we were not disappointed. I know what you mean about the shopping though there are so many different lovely things that its difficult to choose – also we had to watch the weight & cost. There was a limit to both back in the early 90’s hence my little jug from Mexico of about 3cms in height that’s sitting on my shelf.

What an experience and no jetlag. Glad you enjoyed yourselves. Very restrained of you to keep your hands in your pockets, so easy to get carried away. xx

Thanks for sharing! Epcot is really a wonderful place. Every detail is carefully thought out. The last time we were there (10 years ago) I spent time talking to some of the people who work there. It was fascinating. For instance, there is different music playing in each area, but it’s all been designed so that you don’t really notice the change as you move around the different places in each of the parks.

    Hello Grace,

OMG, home-made Limoncello! My favourite drink – long with lemonade, so refreshing. My younger son lived in Japan for over six years and loved the whole experience.

    Love,
