Clarity Crafter’s Community Hub

Good morning everyone, and a happy Monday. Jordan here. How are we all faring? Looking forward to your New Year’s Eve?

This is the part of the Christmas break that yearns to be occupied. I often find myself at a bit of a loose end in the couple of days between Christmas and New Years. I’ve done the garden (just a bit of tidying and raking, nothing too strenuous), deep cleaned the kitchen, I’ve even helped one of my siblings move a load of their furniture.

I saw from Saturday’s post that some of you are planning on Crafting on New Year’s Day, with some of your Christmas gifts, no doubt! What have you got planned?

Also, has anyone decided to try or take up a new Craft for 2020? Perhaps you’re new to Die-Cutting, or Groovi? New Year’s Day might be day one of a brand new Crafting experience for. If so, how exciting! It’s a new page in your Crafting journey, so to speak. Remember – we all started somewhere, with whichever our chosen Crafts are. Don’t worry if you don’t get the results you’d hoped for immediately. It’s all about the process, the learning curve, and most importantly it’s about the Joy of Craft.

If you’re new to a Craft and looking to get some tricks or tips, why not take a look at our fabulously supportive group pages on Facebook?

Groovi Worldwide

Clarity Worldwide

We are so, so proud of our Facebook groups. You Clarity Crafters really make those pages a welcoming community hub. When we see how you all offer each other guidance, support and friendly feedback with new projects and old, it makes us so happy. What a team!

You can always have a browse of Barb’s Blog for ideas, too. Use the search bar on the right hand side of her blog page to seek out a specific tutorial. For example, if you received a set of our Mixed Impressions Stamps for Christmas, a quick search of barbaragrayblog.com with the search term ‘Mixed Impressions’ yields these handy step-by-step tutorials;

Mixed Impressions…

Very Mixed Impressions Again!

Barb’s blog is an absolute fountain of Crafting knowledge. Whether you’re a seasoned Crafter or a bright-eyed novice, you’re sure to find a great deal of inspiration there.

That’ll do it for today. Do let us know below if you’re beginning a new Craft for the new year.

Clarity Matters. It really does.

Until next time.

I am going to try wet felting in the New Year. I hope to make a book but even a hanging is ambitious. My stash will last the rest of my life already but then there are those wonderful stamps coming at the weekend… And I haven’t seen the stencils yet!

Looking forward to seeing the new fresh cut dies and also the groovi plates.
I bought the starter kit for Groovi when you launched, loved it but then just couldn’t get to grips to the cutting hence putting it to one side.
I then bought a die cutting machine, and just loved Clarity dies and got such wonderful results.
With Clarity picot dies made cutting brilliant.
Thank you Clarity for giving me the tools to help me achieve the things I love.
Wishing you all a brilliant New Year.
    Lynn xx

I learnt to wet felt just before Christmas and I also learnt weaving in early December. I’m going on a learn to crochet in January and I have a feeling some more new stamps and stencils will head my way soon. Hubby purchased Tina’s flower stamp and stencil set for me for Christmas and that’s the one I’m going to be playing with on New Years Day.

Wishing you all a very Happy New Years!

This Christmas I got myself the multi needle tool books a few lace duets along with many of the needle tools. I’m going to learn Groovi lacework in the coming year. It’s time consuming, a single card can take hours, but very satisfying. Just wish that Groovi worldwide wasn’t a Facebook group.

Hoping that Clarity can have a Groovi retreat in the US someday.
