Pick of the Week – Speedball Brayers

Happy Monday, Crafters! Jordan here. How was the weekend? Good, I hope.

I helped take down the stand at the NEC yesterday, and teamwork made it quick work. The Clarity crew is a well-oiled machine at this point, and it makes all the difference when it comes to putting up and taking down the show stand. Thanks again to those of you who could attend and came to say hello! We sold a lot of lovely products and met a lot of lovely crafters, so all the hard was more than worth it 🙂

Today, we’ve got a new Pick of the Week for you, and it’s another essential crafter’s tool – the Speedball Brayer.

Ta-da!

The brayer is your mixed media assistant, applying paint to gel press and canvas, paper and more, with ease. It’s designed to apply ink, paint and other media across whichever surface you choose to apply it, with little effort.

For this week you can pick one up with 25% off. This is the perfect opportunity to get yourself a sparkly new brayer at a cracking price. Maybe you know a crafter whose struggling along without one? Stocking filler right here, folks.

Click just here to take a look.

I’ll post a video from our channel below. In this one, Barb demonstrates a really interesting technique using a Gel Press and some alcohol inks, of course, featuring the humble brayer.

Later in the week, we’ll have some more throwback YouTube content for you (which also features our Speedball Brayer!), a look at some Products of the Month, a couple of TV Previews, and perhaps a little catch up with Stuart and his Gluten-Free bread making adventures. Sound good? 😉

Clarity Matters. It really does.

Until next time.

Jordan x

    What a barg.🤗
I have 2 brayers. One for messy play & one for clean play &, at this price, I’m wondering if I should really have one for anything in between. ❣️ 😂

Me too Sue. I was thinking maybe I need a new one so I can demote the present ‘clean ‘ one to gel-plate use and the gel-plate one to more messy stuff!! Have had a brayer for about 20 years and always love to play with it. The gel-press gave it a whole new lease of life. And I must confess that one year I used one to press the seams of my wallpaper when I redecorated my bedroom!! Worked a treat.

These brayers are great, so thanks for the offer. I’m like others in thinking I need a third…! Loved the video. I think this might be the one where Barbara advised later to recondition your gelli plate after alcohol inks with a bit of baby oil as the ink dries the plate. Looking forward to the week ahead on the blog too.
