Happy Easter weekend! I hope this blog finds you happy, safe and enjoying your Saturday.
I’m rather proud that I’ve managed to avoid all of the chocolate everywhere in the lead-up to this weekend. If I were in England (where the chocolate, in my humble opinion, is way tastier) I’d have a real problem.
Instead, I focused my energy on selecting my favourite cards of the week from Clarity Worldwide and Groovi Worldwide.

How on earth do you manage to avoid chocolate, as a chocoholic with diabetes its so hard, and working in a Drs surgery and all the lovely chocolate gifts the patients bring in its so so hard to avoid, but we’ll done you! Maybe working abroad would help my will power, I totally agree GB knows how to make the best chocolate in my opinion.

Happy Easter Grace & everyone reading this blog. A lovely sunny day again today just hope it stays for the next week but don’t think it will looking at the forecast. I am with you on the chocolate, if there is none in the house I am fine but once it has entered the house it has to be eaten. I did buy some eggs yesterday & so far they are intact – partly because I bought a bar of fruit & nut as a treat !!
Another great selection of cards again this week, I have had a week of doing bits & bobs to outstanding projects so a pile of WIP. Working my way through some of the club projects as well which is good fun.
Tina has a FB live this afternoon doing another Tag project so will be joining in with that hopefully unless I get roped in to help paint the fence before the plants start to shoot & make it more difficult to reach. There is always catchup but it is not quite the same as you can’t join in with the chat.
Will check in tomorrow to see what the Design Team’s next project is xx

It was lucky I had some left over from Easter last year as I didn’t do any new ones this time – tell a lie I did do 2 small stamped chick out of egg ones – very basic but they were for the littlies who wouldn’t worry at all ! Quiet day today then with family tomorrow and Mum on Monday. Beautiful day today been lovely to see the sun this week and to sit in the garden. Have a lovely weekend xxx

Chocolate Ginger’s my favourite and once I start eating it it’s hard to stop. Now I only buy it at Christmas. British chocolate is the best. Having just been diagnosed as diabetic I am still learning to be careful and trying to lose weight.
No Easter eggs or chocolate bunnies for hubby this year either as he is trying to support me.

I’ve done really well for the lent period. Going to overdose tomorrow on sugar in the form of a home-made cheesecake. Beautiful artwork; have recently purchased some of the plates so it’s lovely to see the inspiration others have shared. Wishing all a wonderful Easter period.
